in the books Tru Blood was actually a blood replacement for hospitals and such so they wouldn't have to wait for orders. when vampires "came out" they just switched the purpose. i really like that version.

Wow, HBO took no chances with this show, did they? I mean, they really went all out. I saw the show (which would be better if it didn't take place in the south, but is improved by the fact that the lead actor who plays the vampire Bill is actually British or something in real life)before i found this, and it is seriously very clever. If i hadn't already decided to watch this show for the vampire content, this might be enough to make me watch it anyway. Its only one ep in, and airs Sunday at 9!
