Dude the new singer can sing. But that doesnt mean shit layne was great cause of the lyrics he wrote and how muched thy touched base with his listeners. This new guy is just trying to do something that layne has already done and he sucks. These were some of the deepest lyrics i think ever made and this douchbag has no right to sing them. I used to like jerry cantrell but hes changing my opnion. They should change there name. Its not alice without Layne.

@Jessegrr420 Sorry but I'm Familiar with their songs but Jerry Cantrell wrote all of their main songs. Layne probably wrote some but mostly it was Cantrell. I remember that Layne wrote Angry Chair without Cantrell and anyone elses help. But no doubt he sings better than Lenny Kravitz Look alike.

IM THE BIGGEST alice in chains fan ever and i have had a lot of rough times in my life with my father being sick and me being a drug addict and this music means lots to me i know laynes not with us anymore but at least they didnt stop and go off and die im glad to see them healthy and out playing these songs for us i neever got to see alice in chains in concert i was to young when they stoped and now im going ot my first aic show next month at the palladium so im stoked.

The bands that played that night were Earshot, some bitch that sings all crazy (fine bitch) she can sing sorry don't remember what they were called, Tantric, Puddle of Mudd, Chevelle and Alice in Chains. It was my first Rock Concert no bullshit. I've always gone to Rap and hip hop ones. It kicked ass!!!!

I agree, he does a good job replicating Layne's voice but there's a sense of passion and pain that you get from Layne's voice (obviously stemming from his real life addictions) that just made the song so much more meaningful.

I have seen Alice in Chains live before so when I heard they were playing with Kid Rock I had to buy tickets! Absolutely breathtaking live they are. I was sitting in the tiger's den and people there were getting pretty into it. Overall it was a great show!!
