I totally remember playing this one a lot as a tike, and finally beating it one day. When I played back then, I really hated those dang Grim-Reapers and the dreaded Reapettes! Now I just think they are hilarious. XD This game and Metroid were my favorite games as a kid.

I've never actually played this game and I'm glad that you did a play through of it so I now what all the fuss is about. There is no way I would have been patient enough to play through this. I might play it now just to know how the game handles but I don't think I'll play through it.

Kid Icarus was one of my favorite games and I have to agree with nightmathzombieethan:

I have always wanted to see a good playthrough  of this game. When I saw this I KNEW this was a grade A playthrough and I enjoyed watching it! A quick question doesn't Pit always take a step when landing on a new platform?

Awesome! Never seen the best ending with just going through once. Amazing game, didn't know it wasn't that well remembered, I must be old.

Wish they would have been more transparent with how the leveling up system worked and everything. Would have dispelled so many questions people had / have about this game!

Sucks Solstice didn't win but we'll be seeing that soon enough!

Wow...i never really saw the great ending. Mostly i could never get through the 3rd dungeon so i just punched in one of those special passwords by putting in the password: 8 and the rest of the password being U's

Wow, that was a great playthrough corn. I've gotten the best ending in the game as well but I had to play through twice in a row to get it since I didn't have the skill points for the arrow upgrades. I noticed a few very lucky moments during the run you nearly fell to your death a few times and just avoided and eggplant in last dungeon.

Playing this game as a kid I would die in matter of minutes.

Good run. I've only ever seen speed runs of this game, so it's nice to see someone take their time with it. Also, I never knew (until now) how the scoring system worked, so thanks for explaining that. It's weird to see you take your time with a run, haha.

Why did you avoid the last pot? That has the best item.  Also why didn't you buy a barrel? You had time to get your hearts back up to max.

You forgot to mention that on the final level the level will keep repeating itself until you kil 50-53 enemies and once you kill that many the purple bricks will show up and you can fight medusa.
