  • @963poi1 incorrect, that is however your opinion of it, and most opinions are butts, everyone has them, most of them stink, if your opinion stinks, keep it to yourself bro.

  • this is junk

  • Brenda Lee is the best. Hands down. There is no other singer like her. She can sing anything and I do mean anything. Country, Rock, Rockabilly, you name it. Her voice goes with everything. I am proud to call Brenda a friend of mine and it's my goal to bring her music to as many people as I can. She deserves all the happiness in the world.

  • This was the 1st 45 I ever purchased! Bought everything she put out after that! Finally met her 41 years later. She was happy to sign my copy of her 1st lp and I have the picture of her doing it. What a doll! The voice every woman should have.

  • brenda lee such a beautiful natural voice

  • Wonderful old song.

  • there, ya here that america, that was when music was something, now it's nothing more than a drunken, sad waste full of drugs, but a hollow shell of the masterpiece it once was, just utterly disappointing

  • @shiawasekappukekiful Well put

  • @shiawasekappukekiful Yeah, no musicians were doing drugs back in 1960. . .

  • Comment removed

  • @shiawasekappukekiful

    speak for yourself, buddy

  • @shiawasekappukekiful Er...I'm not going to completely disagree with you about the fact that so many of today's musicians are ..'drunken..' or '...full of drugs...' but the musicians from that time were not Saints. Heroin, Cocaine, Marijuana, and of course alcohol were used in great quantities among artists then as well as now. The major difference was that musicians then typically didn't write their own music...

  • I like the Christmas scene behind too reminds me of Downtown Christmas shopping with my Mom in the '60s.

  • The puppies yelping when she walked over and sang "I'm sorry" was priceless! Brenda's face showed she was having fun with the puppies - she gave kind of a sly smile.

  • One of the great pop songs by one of the great singers of her era.

  • Brenda was offered the song ... "I FALL TO PIECES" ... she turned it down ... saying, it was TO COUNTRY !!! it worked out pretty good for ... "PATSY CLINE" !!!

  • Por qué carajo salen unos perros?? Wtf!!

  • All her songs are and will be my favorite, always hear and hear again.

  • I used to get her voice and Wayne Newtons mixed up back in those days. I think her voice might have been a little better though.

  • I read she recorded this song with only one take. They handed it to her at the end of a recording session ..she sang it once and bingo.

  • I'm 16 and I prefer this over most artist's today

  • o tak stare ale swietne

  • Ahh I love this song :D

  • Why don't they make a tribute movie about Brenda Lee? That would be awesome! And have her play herself. Hey, Brenda...

  • Lol what has this world come to? @(previous comment)

  • Cool voice. Love the puppy scene. LOL

  • My Cousin went to School with Brenda Lee & Then they were Roommates in College

  • 1960 huh !!?? That might explain things to me. The Doc and Nurses must have been playing this song on the radio in the delivery room that day !?! No wonder,I Iike it and alway's have.

  • SUPER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • anyway to clean up audio? so younger generations can see what it was really like?

  • @emilboone0 I'm willing to bet everything I have, if you ask one of your favorite bands who their idols were, their answer would be one of these "old time music stars." These were normal people who didn't let fame get to their heads and sang because they loved to do it. No auto-tune to make them sound like something they're not. They had raw talent, not something you see anymore these days.

  • If a present-day singer did this video, she would probably use that pole for an exotic dance pole.

  • Man of man, Brenda Lee was sensationally great!

  • her voice <3

  • man this song is a good one let me tell you something how you goana dis brinda lee she was a good singing artist i love this song

  • the hell is it with everyone longing for the good ole days on youtube music vids? youngins are always rowdy, music's always had its ups & downs, the world keeps on turning, herpity derp derp. nostalgia's cool and all but pining isn't.

  • no sound here so much less the discussion

  • I'm confused, i don't believe in god, but Brenda's voice is a god given gift.

  • After everything is said and Done, The greatest singer is, Brenda Lee. I know all the others,(Lynn, LeAnn, Patsy, Reba, Martina, Wynette pugh, Tammy to you) and I love them all.. But Brenda is the one.

  • Those cute puppies are long dead. :(

On a brighter note, this song is great. It would be another 23 years before I'd be born...yet I LOVE this old music. So meaningful.

  • fits in my ipod all-time favorites perfectly

  • My mother gave me this name, it's beautiful, they wonder where I get my singing talent from, now that I sing this song along with her, my voice sounds kind of the same! ^_^ The song is beautiful! :D

  • Brenda Lee was the only act that the Beatles were lead-ins for... They sang first to lead in for the "star" who was Brenda Lee

  • @marvwaddy

That's not correct. The Beatles were also "lead-ins" for Roy Orbison.

  • @meredithclaudia You're**

  • I love the music, of the 50's-the 21st century. I grew up, remembering to respect, the elderly. I've seen the changes, in life & I respect everyone's rights' to an opinion, including, the young people, of today. Each decade, of my life, has changed, in what's good & positive or bad & negative. Young people, whether u grew up, in the 1800's, the 20th century or u r growing up today, change is inevitable. I've just adapted, perhaps, others,' can't or won't accept changes. However, don't dismiss o

  • @JesusChristsuxCocks Your gutter- humor is better suited for the back pages of 'Hustler', I think. Brenda has more class than people like you will ever hope to have.

  • can we please try to pull each other out of the gutter..and not wish them their...so many hostile words..hostile actions..can we all just get along..Rodney King saying that stuck..

  • Actually Jesus fucked Mary Magdalene. He was the only one worthy of her.

  • Brenda Lee Fan 1 [ Ree Cee ] i miss you, your blog on our youtube site was the nicest post ever about me you said "Well now you know you were named after one of the greatest singers, she would have been 13 years old when you were born so this makes you special too"...Thank you for sharing come back, Brenda.

  • I love Brenda Lee.

  • Merci Brenda tu es merveilleuse..........

  • It is a sad road in which the music industry has traveled down.

  • i ll stick with brenda lee, patsy cline, marty robbins and ray price and many others from that era. this new country aint nothin but back rock n roll. danged ole ear rings in their noses, lips. all tatted up. look like they aint had a bath in a month. its terrible.

  • @ALL THE HATERS... Aw dang! The computer's going to go out of style?! Whatever will I do?! It says '81, not '91, you ignorant ass. You "senior citizens" cry about respect, well, sorry but you need to give it to get it. Tattoos and piercings are not a "new" thing. Do your research. Don't roll everyone into one single stereo-type when you so obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

  • Love this women . lol

  • So beautiful !!! None of these loser Hip Hop singers can compare to this !!!

  • she certainly lived up to her title little miss dynamite superb

  • im 13 and i love this music......there is something deeply wrong with me...lulz just kiddin

  • holy shit! old ppl kno how to use the computer now!!

  • @dreamkitten81 Yes we do. Would you know how to take a test and add up a column of figures WITHOUT a calculator? Would you know how to use a rotary phone, or leave your seat, and walk up to a television to change the channel? Do you think you could manage to manually roll down the window in a car? Just asking.

  • @Alikah1 Uhh, duh? I know and have done all of those things. Unlike the kids today, I'm not a dumbass.

  • @dreamkitten81 darling, when you become an adult, just maybe you will remember, hair styles and dress styles come and go ,BUT GOOD MANNER AND MORALS NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE!!! when you are a senior citizen the computer will be OUT OF STYLE, we all go down the same road in life, con amor

  • @dreamkitten81 You are old enough to know better than to steretype people (whether old or young or in between) and should learned enough about life by now not to make dumb-ass comments like that. You're not a child any more there's no excuses for your idiotic comment. :) Just saying.

  • There was a reason she was called Little Dynamite.

One of the most powerful voices ever.

  • lindo vii 5 vezes

  • vii 5 vezes

  • She was the greatest and I loved this song when I was in basic traing at Lackland Feild in 1960. At times I was sure sorry!!

  • What a voice. The songs of yesteryears...by God..what a wonderful era.

  • This is so fabulous! Thanks for posting it!

  • YES, back in those days i didn't know it either that love can be cruel!!!

  • Wow, she is singing this live!

  • yes - that was in the days when singers had to be able to, well, sing! She copies the record so faithfully (I noticed a couple of tiny additional inflections) because that is the way audiences wanted to hear it, not the awful "variations" that singers do on their songs nowadays, completely ruining them and giving the paying public a poor shadow of the songs they have come to see performed.

    Rant over!

  • @bbtablet I agree, although nowadays she sings this song much slower, live. She still sounds great, though.

  • this song is to my friend ron pope from frank he lives in bellevue wa thank you
