Yea, this game is epic. Expect the release to be on March 16th. And sadly this is the end of the series. There will be other games to come, possibly another series with Kratos but this series is planned to finish with the third one. I know its a dissapointment but it wouldn't have taken them 2 years to make this game if it wouldn't be awesome when it was finished

@gertjanmarckx: You know, if you read Gaia's facial expressions when Kratos says "and we will see Olympus crumble before us!", she seems sad, like she wants to defeat the Gods, but not destroy Olympus itself, so it seems possible that something like that could happen.

Well, it's not about the "castle", it's Mount Olympus. The Titans were the previous rulers of mankind, so that might've been their old throne once (just a guess. Not too sure). Seeing the ending of the gameplay demo and seeing (possible Spoilers) a Titan attempt to kill you makes me think some of the Titans are "double agents", so to speak. We'll see a 3 and a half weeks.

surely not...the Titans were fortressed at Mount Othrys, Zeus and his brothers destroyed the Titans' palace and that really pissed the Titans off....with Kronos defeated, that marked the end of the Golden Age and the Greaat War (The time where titans were the ruler of mankind). so in GoW3, it's just logic for them to inflict some "cracks" at Mount Olympus for what has been done to theirs...

I did wiki it and you're right. No, I think that Titan believes that they'll fall at the hands of the Olympians again, so he wants to switch sides so he doesn't have to go back to Tartarus after his defeat. I take the side of the Titans since they made the age they ruled in a Golden Age. Also, they didn't betray Kratos. The Olympians did.

They weren't really "rulers" like the Pantheon, they just kind of existed and in Greek mythology the world was described as "Chaotic", historically they're usually described in a negative light.

Well it was a "Golden" age mostly because it was "prosperous" only in that, in Greek mythology there weren't any other beings than the titans.

hence why in the other trailer Zeus says "In the beginning there was only Chaos, in the beginning there was only the Titans." etc.

Yeah thats one of the primary themes in the Greek myths is the relationship between Father's and Son's, Uranus wanted to destroy the Titans for fear of being overthrown (which they did because of this) and Chronos feared the Gods for the same reason (which Zeus did for the same reason) and thus Kratos does the same.

Well, then they should stop this cycle of stupidity. The Father should plan to give control to one of their sons, not fear them to overthrow him, because what he does from his fear will solidify his own downfall. It's that simple.

Its kind of a Patriarchial thing and one of the Nuances in God of War is that Kratos is free from fate.
