Evan so. If a religion will allow this kind of thing to happen to even one child, and they were all living on one compound, a child should not be but in that situation. Do you not agree? That kind of thing can ruin a child. I also have herd that there was a mother in that group that was 18, BUT she has 3 or 4 kids. Something seems rong there to me. I personaly believe that no child should be xeposed to any cult of any kind, Freedom of religion or not.
Get real. These people did nothing wrong. That's why they got their children back. The went through two courts, the Appeallate court and the Supreme Court and both said that they should get their children back.
What does that mean? It means they were not doing anything wrong. Stop believing the lies the media feeds you.
And stop calling people that are different than you, a cult.
I personally agree that religous sects like polygamist should be investigated. It is illegal. I think they may had reason enough to raid the compound, since in other sects and polygamist communties there are a lot of abuse and forced marriages, incest, etc. I think there should be DNA test done to see whose child is who, if in fact they are underage, to see if there was any abuse going on. The religous sect is going to go against any allegations of abuse because or underage marriages......
They could be underage and have counterfit birth certificats and that sort of thing. No allegations here just I think it was just to check what was going on. If there is no signs of abuse or any illegal activity the children should be returned to thier parents even though it is a unfortunate thing these children have to live in a sect and brought up outside of the normal world, and are pretty much from birth have no other choice to believe but anything they sect has brought them up to believe in
You are either incredibly misinformed or not up to date on the news. There were no 50 year olds married to teens, that was all a lie started in the hoax phone call.
There was also not a single underage teen mother. That was all a lie too.
Here is a very recent article to get you up to speed:
"The agency asserted that 31 children, aged 14 to 17, were pregnant or had borne children by adults. However, the agency now admits that over half of those 31 persons are actually adults, including one who is 27 years old. At the time of the hearing, the agency could not identify a single child married below the legal age, including the nonexistent "Sarah." (Texas law allows marriage at age 16, or younger with court approval.)"
