Good tips but I think composting is sometimes made to sound like brain surgery with all the carbon/nitrogen/temperature talk. It turns people off to it. Basically just pile organic stuff up,no meat,and let it rot. Eventually it will make compost. If you're in a hurry do all the layering and temp stuff to speed it up a bit but it'll get there without you doing anything if you'll let it.
