I graduated from Johnson & Wales... I went to the Miami Campus first, than the Denver Campus... Some of my greatest memories are at JWU both with basketball, classroom, and life... Have fun, live it up, it will go by soooooo damn quick... The atmosphere, campus, people, dorm rooms is something you will never forget. I thank JWU for giving me the greatest times ever and introducing me to my future wife, I hope you all make and embrace memories that will last FOREVER..
Sadly, this school will accept anyone with half a brain. My intention isn't to lower your self esteem. I just don't want you to be surprised when you realize half of the students here barely manage to breathe.
Damn... so in your opinion... should i attend le cordon bleu, which i already got recomended for by the admin officer and miss out on a full college experience, or shold i go to johnson and wales and get the experience but not the prestigious education?? Sorry just my mom doesnt understand wat im tryin to ask her so i thot i may ask a formor student
Johnson and Wales University has its pros and cons. I don't like how half of the kids here are brain dead morons. I also don't like how 85% of the academic classes here are not challenging. 85% of those classes are less than or equal to high school material. But, 15% of the remaining classes are great. What I like about this school are the culinary labs. Our culinary program is much better than le cordon bleu. I've known many le cordon bleu grads tell me that they are useless.
Of course, even then our culinary programs has its pros and cons. You might feel that some of our culinary classes are futile. You also may not like some of our chefs here. But, for the most part you will enjoy your culinary labs and chefs. If you come here, you need to have these chefs: Chef Puckett, Chef Ariza, Chef DeNittis, Chef Schrag, Chef Henkel, Chef DeVault, and my favorite Chef Dawson.
Don't hesitate to ask me any questions. I won't give any sugar coating answers like the school does.
Hmmm so it kinda sounds like JWU is where i should go. Like the admin lady called me again today and she was telling me how they were better and whatnot. Im confused
