  • I had this model with matching dryer when I lived in an apartment, it was a great little washer. I sold it and the dryer when I moved into a house after I bought my first front loader.

  • OH this agitation is SO MUCH BETTER than the normal 'herky-jerky' corkscrew! The rollover is far better! Why didn't Whirlpool use this action on the 1985-on DD washers???

  • sorry i accidently pushed post comment anyway the first time I watched that machine i was wondering why it did not make much noise because i was used to the noisier machines.

  • I forgot to mention on the other video of this washer that i love quiet noise makes during the wash cycle. And one more thing the kenmore was my very first washer i ever seen run that had a direct drive ever at first I

  • ic. cool video. Everyone complains that dd's are hard on clothes, i personally don't give a shit, and i think they clean better than any toploader out there.

  • @Tuthill99 I agree,Jeb.

  • is this a direct drive?

  • Yup.

  • Is this machine built by Whirlpool, or someone else?

  • i think whirlpool makes these machines under a bunch of names, like kenmore, crosley, etc including their own name.

  • as far as i know, its a Whirlpool

  • There are some rags in there, and a bit too much soap. The water level is on the smallest too, if you bring it up, the action is much more gentle. I've not had it tear anything I've ever put into it.

  • Is there actual clothes in there? If so, it looks rough on clothes I bet if you put clothes in there it will put holes in there.

  • looks rough on the clothes
