@35speedracer1 actually no, those were the prices i got back when i created this video. i used the prices from toyota and honda's canadian websites, which means the base price for the camry and accord are 25-26k and fucked up canadian taxes help bring that to 27-28k final price with no options.

@lank05 Camry's need custom exteriors if you ask me, terrible bland styling. Fcking appliances. I don't about the lasts forever part, Toyota has defects and problems not unlike GM these days. Sure, Honda has problems as well but they don't hide shit cough cough and recall cars even out of warranty at no cost to the customer.

wongmylesa, sorry to say this but the Honda engine is a Tad more reliable then the Toyota. from a scale 1 to 10 ) Honda engine is a 10, Toyota is a 9. But the thing is that the Toyota transmission is a 10 and the Honda transmission is a 9. In my opinion both Brand are great. I have a 99 Honda accord exv6 coupe that I bought it brand new back in 2000. I love the body style , its now almost 150k and still running great.

And of the camry is more reliable... Then how come consumer reports has Honda as 99% reliable. (it's number 1 for reliability and quality.). But toyota is 89% reliable.

The accord doesn't launch out of controll into a tree At 135 mph.

That gas pedal alone should make the accord safer and more reliable.

i've sat inside the new accord and new 3 and 5 series at an autoshow recently - the 3 series was damn uncomfortable, the 5 series had a very ugly interior

the accord was more comfortable and the ex-l v6 model is cheaper

I have never driven a Honda but I love my 97 Camry. It is extremely reliable and never has had any problem. Toyotas are very good, as long as they were made in Japanese factories. I had a Corolla made in the US and it was a complete mess.

Both are garbage but if I had to embarass myself, Id take the Accord. I noted you made 2 mistakes, The Camry -does- come in a Manual Transmission (4cyl only) and the Camry has VSC which is the same as Honda's whatever you called it.

They're both great. So is the Nissan Altima. For those 3 cars, you get what you paid for or your money back! Toyota, Honda and Nissan has never given us hassle when we'd take one of their new cars back.

I disagree to an extent. Both Honda and Toyota WAY OVER DID the front grill appearance on their respective cars. The camry looks way overdone in the front, as does the Accord.
