The last part of this video is from a German tv-channel (Pro7). It shows the channels real news show called "Newstime" which is used for a little preshow on Fringe. There was a lot of discussion about this type of commercial, because many people said, that this would make "Newstime" dubious for the future.^^

On the Fringe website there is a trailer from the new season, at the end a moth or butterfly flies out of a puddle of liquid in front of the word Fringe. The moth or butterfly could also point to the whole theme which involves an alternate world....and how the actions there effect events here......such as in the novel by Ray Bradbury and the people go back in time and are told to not step off the path or it could effect the future..and something does and kills a butterfly which affects a change.

At the end of this there is a guy speaking in a different language (german maybe) anyways he is describing a man being attacked by butterflies or moths (is this part of the episode?) because if it is in the next episode at the end Olivia, Rachel and Rachel's daughter are playing Simon says. Could Simon be the mirror image of the child's name (the child who looks like an observers. Hence his name is Nomis which is a genus of moths of the Crambidae family.........

JHU/Dell may have the following meaning: Johns Hopkins University, this university works with DELL in the IT area. And, all computers we see in episodes are DELL. Particularly, in FBI.

American research centre in New York. At a Massive Dynamic employees meeting, the 43 year old man was attacked and injured by insects akin to butterflies while he was still in the bureau building. When people tried to help him, he was attacked by a whole swarm of these butterflies. Another co-worker shot these pictures with his mobile.

So, what is it with US TV series? Why do they show their episodes in random blocks with huge gaps between them, sometimes two or three months?

It's really fragmented and annoying, is it something to do with sports coverage (or prole distraction as it should be called)?

so maybe they did have a thing way back when , wich u mentioned in a different recap. and peter seems to notice it when he leaves!

i thought of something: so the newstand guy mentions that the woman should see charade (which is a good movie) but it also has some symbolism, possibly referring to John Scott and Loeb, people who aren't what they seem meaning they are putting up a "charade" just something i came up with

Hey! Where did you find the video that's posted at the end of this recap? Since this epsiode wasn't shown in Germany so far (til now just 4 Episodes were broadcastet), this wasn't broadcastet either.

By the way: There were more of these promos for other episodes. Here they were handled as a big deal, since it doesn't clearly state that what they're telling in this promo is actually fictional... The man you see is the newsman of this channel and many people believed him... ;-)

Josh, are you SURE Olivia turned out those lights? They didn't start going out until after Peter came back. Could be Olivia, Peter, OR the two of them together, JMHO.

Yes, it very well could be Peter, since he was unwilling. But they would have to have him say he was willing, b/c otherwise he might have just wanted to be w/ Olivia or knew he wouldn't get out it time, etc. But it is certainly plausible.

definatley.. theres that woman whos husband he beat up..but there was not actuall confirmation on who she was or what to him.. and also her husband then goes and tell a guy that peter is back.. again nothing has evolved from that. so something must be going on somewhere

Around 18mins on there were blue and red lights flashing behind Olivia. Could this be continued from the red/blue theme in The Cure? I also think next episodes clue is the numbers written on the desk just before the second guy dies.
