Yeah... When I was a kid I wanted to get a cat. I had all the money, I was VERY RESPOSIBLE( I ran a babysitting service) My dad said that the vet visits were to expensive, or it'll get forgotten. same excuse. I'm still a little upset.

In 1992 I gave two cats a new home. One was 10 and the other one 5 years old at the time. Muffi died in November this year at the age of 20. Cookie is 25 years old by now and the apple of my eye. To make the decision to have a cat or a dog out must come from the heart. And if you can´t handle the commitment don´t give pets as a present.
