  • God bless you ,i found the truth about the Eucharist in John6;41-59.as is taught by the catholic and orthodox church

May the peace of our lord Jesus Christ be with you

  • To joeynovella3: You are limited in vocabulary, creativity and talent (not a very promising combo for the entertainment field).

It's not your fault, though. Your issues are summed up in

    1 Corinthians 2: 9-16.

It's too bad, too, as you are quite a cute guy! If you ever open yourself to The Spirit, you might have some potential.

    I will pray for you.

To Bingolly1: Great Job! May you be Blessed!

  • Thanks and God Bless you

  • I left the Catholic Church for fundamentalism because of the pitiful state of Catholic education. I became a rabid anti-catholic and through that, I ran into the teachings of Scott Hahn who was refuting all of the stupid anti-catholic garbage that had gotten into my head. One by one, my anti-catholic beliefs fell... like ahouse of cards they fell!

In 2003, I humbly rejoined the Catholic Church and now try to spend some time each week trying to tell others not to be stupid like I was ;)

  • I am sure you went through some spiritual suffering along the way. Scott Hahn does an excellent job in his books. I am glad you are at peace with the Catholic Church now. God Bless You

  • for me the eucharist concept says to me that Jesus dying on the cross wasnt enough.the act of communion in my understanding is to be a re-enactment of the last supper and a time for us to reflect on Christs sacrifice for us.if the last supper was an actual breaking of His flesh and spilling of His blood then one is constantly nailing Christ to the cross whenever they partake. He died only once for all our sins, that is all that is needed.

  • Bingolly - Last 2 videos both 5 stars.

dogsieh - The Mass is not resacrificing Christ. The Mass is a continual daily offering of the once for all time Divine Paschal Sacrifice. At every Mass we stand at the foot of the same Cross of Calvary looking up at the Body of Christ on the cross. We can only offer this same Sacrifice with the assistance of God Himself, who changes the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ so that all can offer and partake of the Sacrificial Lamb.

  • beingbob, just a few concerns regarding your statement.

Christ is risen and has conquered death , sin,and the cross. He is no longer bound to the cross.

we cannot offer any sacrifice for sin only offer repentance.Christ was the last sacrifice ,dying for all sins, putting an end to sacrifice and shedding of blood.

  • Christ isn't bound by time either. I never said there is another sacrifice. We offer the same Sacrifice. We are standing at the foot of the cross in 33ad and in 2008. Your concerns are unfounded.

  • beingbob, again we as creation cannot offer the same sacrifice.Sacrifice under the law was for past sins, Christs sacrifice was for past present and future.we cannot offer the same sacrifice as Christ, was not the practice of indulgences done away with?my friend you are not speaking with an ignorant protestant, i come from a history of catholics (100s of years, some involved in the priesthood), i myself born and raised.

  • Whether you were born or raised is beside the point and has no bearing here. We are baptized into a priesthood, with Jesus Christ as the Eternal High Priest. This one offering is past, present and future. This one offering may be offered continually so that all, past, present and future may partake of the Paschal Sacrifice.

What have indulgences to do with this? We are discussing the Eucharist. Indulgences are another discussion but to answer your question - No. Indulgences are still granted.

  • The sacrifice in the Mass is the same sacrifice that Christ made on the cross. Once for all time.... Christ is continually presenting himself to God on our behalf.

That's my understanding & it makes sense!

BeingBob just said it better than me ;)

  • mm3861,"Christ is continually presenting himself to God on our behalf".Christ himself said to do this in rememberance which means to dwell on and keep fresh as not to lose the moment.there is such a great difference between remembering ones actions and having them continualy do them.the continuation nullifies the original act.Christ presented himself a sacrifice once on earth and before the Father, he need not "continually presenting himself to God on our behalf."

  • God Bless you for seeking the truth and not lsitenning to those who put Christians in bad light.

  • I am glad that you did the study necssary and did not listen to anti-Catholics. It is important to study with an open mind and open heart. God Bless you

  • Thanks! I subed to him and know the site you refer to. God Bless

  • Congratulations! I support you all the way.

  • You had guessed it in an email. I was just not letting anyone know till I was sure they had seen the video.

  • Sorry but while I am aware of his work I have not read any of his books. I am in the process now of getting a library started with some new books though. I also want to purchase some of Karl Keating's books.

  • I subscribed after watching OneTrueChurch's recommendation. I can see why he wanted people to subscribe to you. You do not disappoint.

God bless! I'll be praying for you.

  • Thanks for coming by and commenting.

  • Great video Bingolly! So are you Baptist or Catholic? lol I guess the answer should be obvious from the video but your profile says different! Anyways God Bless you!

  • At the present I am still Southern Baptist. My video reflects what I have learned while defending the Catholic Church against slander from various sources. My Southern Baptist status is subject to change.

  • If and when I take the Catholic faith. I will make a video letting people know how it came about.

  • Well I look forward to accepting you into the faith!

  • Thank you very much, I really like The Church Fathers video of your's! God Bless you.

  • Thanks very much for your uplifting commnets.

  • Flesh and blood has not revealed this to me but our Father in heaven. These men walked and talked with Jesus but only knew who Jesus was through the Eucharist. Thanks for your help!

  • How much of this did you learn while studying the Catholic Church in order to defend it with your videos? I bet it had lots to do with it.

  • Unknowing to those I defend the Catholic Church against they helped me to see the truth. God even works through others wrong to show people the right.
