Yes they did back in 1984, and the real USC beat them back in 1980 and yes, the fake USC doesn't want any part of the real USC. Not too many SEC teams want a part of USC but Auburn and Arkansas took their beatings like men. I'm waiting for a USC-LSU or USC-Florida showdown.

The only good/great teams that didn't lose to an inferior opponent were Utah (undefeated may have something to do with that) and Bama (lost to Florida and Utah). Ole Miss and Florida have been playing .500 ball against each other like USC has with the 2 Oregon schools.
SC may struggle against Ohio State early, but they'll end up pulling away. I don't think they care about the name thing unless somebody brings it up.

first of all i NEVER said usc has done anything. second of all, clemson isn't the only school we don't fare well against. dabo beat us last year because his players busted their ass to keep his job. if you are counting success in beating us, than you don't have lofty goals. but i will say we have had teams in the last few years that would have contended in the acc, something clemson hasn't been able to do.

The offensive line needs to improve 10 fold, as does the kick return defense. The way they're playing now, they dont have a shot in hell at stopping CJ Spiller. Clemson has talent, and regardless of their conference they beat USC almost every year.

Yes they did back in 1984, and the real USC beat them back in 1980 and yes, the fake USC doesn't want any part of the real USC. Not too many SEC teams want a part of USC but Auburn and Arkansas took their beatings like men. I'm waiting for a USC-LSU or USC-Florida showdown.

The only good/great teams that didn't lose to an inferior opponent were Utah (undefeated may have something to do with that) and Bama (lost to Florida and Utah). Ole Miss and Florida have been playing .500 ball against each other like USC has with the 2 Oregon schools.
SC may struggle against Ohio State early, but they'll end up pulling away. I don't think they care about the name thing unless somebody brings it up.

george wasn't geeked up on the blow until he played professionally. it's one thing to have a NC but another thing to win one and then be on probation for three years following..no television or no bowls from 82-84. name one other school that has been put on probation following a NC season. then, not to mention clemson ran off the only good coach they ever had (ford) and haven't done jack shit since.

first of all i NEVER said usc has done anything. second of all, clemson isn't the only school we don't fare well against. dabo beat us last year because his players busted their ass to keep his job. if you are counting success in beating us, than you don't have lofty goals. but i will say we have had teams in the last few years that would have contended in the acc, something clemson hasn't been able to do.
