I do something like that for my panties but it's more like an "egg roll" type of fold.

PAJAMA PACK! thats brilliant. when i used to go on trips alot when i was younger my mom would pack like two weeks worth of stuff in a tiny bag by putting them in ziplocks and sucking out all the air. If I packed like you do my luggage would weigh like... 3 times more than I can take with me. (I almost always go by plane, fly from europe to asia..!) My best tips on packing is: Buy a suitcase that doesn't fill more than about your maximum weight you can take with you (According to my samsonite store you should get 70-80 litre if you want to pack 20 kg), and then just put everything in, without rolling and folding like crazy. Your way of packing is good when traveling by car or boat though! :D

@ankiutanpytte u would be surprised how much clothes don't weigh. a shirt is about 400gram which is like 1/3 a lbs. Flying world wide definitely has different rules..but these tips are just for weekend trips and such. But again u would be very surprised how cotton doesn't weigh...I would stay away from twills...that stuff is so heavy!

There's a much easier way of folding underwear, just fold in the two side straps till they line with the middle then take the crotch and tuck it into the elastic. Same effect, less complicated.

for the flat iron, don't wrap the wire around the flat iron, it damages it.. instead fold the wires:) thats what i learnt!
