The dance team should be the drill team, and the drill team should be the dance team. Ballet moves are dance and can be incorporated into routines regardless if it is hip hop, jazz, ballet or lyrical. Both routines stunk and I can't say that the drill team would know hip hop, due to the fact that most of them were off count, sloppy looking and performing most of the same moves repeatedly. Hats off to the dance team who dared to be different.
