  • この曲は日本でもとても人気があったんですよ!今聴いてもイイですねぇ!

  • From the '70's to now, I can watch Dewey Bunnell sing the phone book! Love Ventura Highway and America, they just don't make 'em like that any more.

  • good stuff

  • R.I.P. - Dan Peek, lead guitar...

  • First Grassroots, now America. 70's soft rock is passing on. Very sad.

  • the crowd sucks

  • Dmaj7 I agree completly with you Vallin, the most rich of harmony and melody chords,I will say also Gmaj7.

  • Bands like America were what music was all about in the 70s. a glorious era in modern music. What kids have today is Justin Babyer. Pathetic.

  • @RGN07 I agree with you completely.

  • 1 more time with dan peek--bring back the old America sound--the drummer and lead guitarist have been with them since the git-go--they are in gold watch status.

  • THESE GUYS BLOWWW!!!(troll)

  • I grew up listening to these wonderful guys. Beautiful. You still have it. Stay strong. They don't make them like you anymore. Nobody today compares to the music of your era. XOXOXOXOXOXOX Stay strong........YOUR COUNTRY LOVES YOU!!!!! God Bless America in every way!!!

  • Imagine how many times they have played this song. They still give 110% and sound as good as the day it was written. Thanks for the great music. Can't wait to see them again in October.

  • Beautiful

  • Please someone put" Dewey Bunnell homeless in miami" in the youtube search engine and tell me if you think the man singing while on the train is Dewey

  • Fantastic To See They`ve Still Got It, And Enjoying It Too....BRILLIANT !!!

  • everyone seems to not mention there drummer when they give praise to america hes been with them since the 70 man...

  • This is a beautiful song. Dewey and Gerry still sound awesome!! ( I hope that you are feeling better Dewey!)

  • love the intro.

  • i really like most of their songs and i admire them so much....1 of the best.....

  • this may be my favorite song ever!!!!!!!! B

  • wow...i'm so smitten with GB

  • oh, yes....i am a guitarist....i was born in 1970......i am old as fuck...hahah...they don't write song's like this anymore....i miss that........peace and love....Brian.....

  • awesome band love their music so much

  • I loved this song and still do, I loved the energy. Music today is crap compared to this, the people involved should be ashamed, get music back to what it should be full of, memories damn it I oved the 70's, people gave a crap but about the right stuff.

  • I used to have picnics on the side of the highway back in the 70's, admiring the grasses and taking time to stop and admire the roadside flowers. We could spend a whole afternoon just sitting there, drinking red wine, sampling cheeses and dips. The 70's were so relaxed compared to today. Everyone was so carefree. Nobody cared about promotions, who had more money etc etc. Life was bliss. This song really captures the spirit of what I'm talking about - VENTURA HIGHWAY

  • Oh Yeah. I am with ya. I still BLAST this in my car on the highway with all the windows rolled down.

  • @phileustace I was a kid in the 70s. Have brief memories of what radios were playing by then but somehow all those melodies have stuck in my head until now. Eagles, Carpenters, Seal and Croft, HAll and Oats, AMERICA and this gem which as you said captures 70s spirit, Oh the 70s Best time EVER to be a Kid...... well, Best time EVER to be! I miss LPs ,cassetes, and I miss my childhood....

  • @popboy0

It is interesting how you say you miss your childhood from

the 1970s. I know that there are a million other people in

the same boat as you. Music has really taken a turn for the

worse since the mid 90s. It now comes down to corporate

sponsorship. Back in the 70s there wasnt such a conglomerate

of COKE, PEPSI and MICROSOFT brands that were dominating

the music scene. Nowdays unfortunately it comes down

to money hungry zionism at the expense of artists and music

    lovers !!

  • @popboy0 Oh Sweetie -- I know, what you mean! OMG -- how, I MISS THOSE DAYS, BACK IN THE 70'S. Everything has changed .......... My Lord -- Why?

  • @calina59 All things must change, That´s Life....but Good music remain the same......Ambrossia.... Little River band... 10CC..... CC Revival.... The Wings...

  • Very special.

  • this is the best music ever...my favorite song !

  • it's funny how i first heard this song on the ventura freeway back in the early 70's,we were go to disneyland this song brings alot of memories back.

  • Saw them in London last night.....OK it's not 1971 and I'm not 17.....A very nice evening......Thank you America

  • This seems the only great long lasting band with no egos and drug use tearing them apart...and they sound and look amazing, they must be really old....before my time, but great music is timeless

  • Very good!

  • those opening cords have stayed with me for a long time i love em pembo york uk ps my hair is still long but no longer golden

  • this is my faforite from america.

i like all the songs but i like this one special.

  • I remember there was an interview and America explained how they just created the song in a hotel room...ya...the song is special indeed.

  • the nights are stronger than moonshine.....yeahhhhh

  • I am the biggest Association on the planet. That said, these guys are fantastic! 30 years and going so very strong, that is great! Keep going for many more guys. J

  • That was "Association FAN", sorry! What natural talent America shows! They sing with no effort, a wonderful treat here. Keep it up! John A.

  • Dmaj7: the most beautiful chord on Earth.

Also "Band On The Run" and "Ten Years Gone"

  • @VallinSFAS I have to say it is.. (Dmaj7 )who ever thot about this chord should be made known...

  • i saw them at the free concerts at the esplanade, Boston, ma along with Orleans and both bands were fab! i grew up listening to their music...thanks for posting.

  • hoi!!! PAHUWAY na MO!! .. tiguwang na mo!!

  • these guys were always my favorite and never saw them live, but i had the chance to see them front row for a soundstage taping in chicago about 2 years ago.....AWESOME. they came back to chicago with the band chicago this past summer and i paid $500 for 2 front row center tickets. they are that good...UNBELIEVABLE still after all these years as they sound the best they ever have.

  • Man what happened to the hair! I loved the hair

  • that is true, their hair rocked, but theyre still awesome.

  • I hear ya, but I think they look pretty damned incredible for a band that's been touring since, what, the late 60's??

  • SWEET!

  • These "so called" bands today could learn a whole lot about class from America. Truly one of the top bands, and they are truly timeless!

  • Great song,When was this video taped? The band still looks good. Thanks
