They have always been Fords engines in the Mazda shells. The 2010 Mazdaspeed3 are all Mazda but the 2.3 MZR engine is the 2.3 Duratec Ford. This will be the last year Ford and Mazda do this ... Notice how the Speed3 is no longer being made. Mazda is trying to make something equal to what it is now! So Snag the Speed3 while it's around xD

what is an rx3? did you mean ms3 or rsx? btw brake boosting is stepping on your brakes and gas at the same time so you maintain a constant speed while still building your boost so that as soon as you let off the gas you have your boost there.

Some of the posts on you tube really are funny. People talk shit about cars on here like they know everything. Going even with an evo on a highway roll in a modded car is not an accomplishment, that is the one thing the evo was NOT built for. Try a launch and throw in some corners. You will realize that the extra money that the evo costs is not for highway speed but for the amazing (and that is an understatement) S-awc all wheel drive and grip.

Well, for a car that only made 145 HP stock, and only adding bolt ons, a boost control, remapped ecu, on a stock head, block and turbo, Ide say Im doing pretty well. Plan is to rebuild the block with forged internals, rebuild the head, port/polish, with oversized valves, and a T4, Ide be looking at bigger numbers. Never have heard what your driving. Sound like such a hardass behind a keyboard, lets see what your pushing around.

n/a it is, but you cant boost the k motor in an rsx without work. ms3 comes boosted and you can upgrade the boost, evo's are bulletproof in the motor and can be made into the equivelant of a supercar for real world money

do you know about type s? i have a whole book on the k series motors. k20 is awesome up to about 300hp, then unreliable, evo n subies do 300 easily, my friends evo 9 has 340 all with parts that keep it under warranty. supercharged k is an awesome motor, if you supercharge it brand new you get an almost 30k mile warranty, and you still lose to evos, up the boost to 9psi no more warranty and be happy if you get to drive it for a year without a serious problem. remember i own a type s

7 to 9 psi on a k20 is awsome through a jrsc, the comptech is way overpriced and the jrsc produces way more torque through the mid rev range. just be ready for that day it goes to shit. i plan to go jrsc down the line when i can afford to get a k24 block sleeved, then with jrsc and 7psi i'll have reliable massive torque n hp, just no traction from a dig
