I was mostly refering to the people who said they miss Pino or "John isnt the same" w/o Pino when hes never played a tour with John besides the trio stuff, when that was six years ago. It didnt make sense when Sean has been the bassist for the last 3 years.

On all these videos people are saying they miss Pino and Steve. Pino only played with John during the trio stuff.....Sean (his current bass) has been here the last 3 years.Where have you people been? It just drive me carzy when people say hes not the same without them...I couldnt disagree more. The new stuff has soooo much soul. I love Steve and Pino too but that era of John is gone. Just wait....here soon you people will be saying I miss when John wore the hat and played his folky stuff.

looks like a newer model american deluxe. I've got a 09 american standard and the pickups are shit. so he's probably got them swapped for his custom underwound lindy fralin's or CS 69's. something like that, or he couldve just liked the sound of this particular strat in the store. Guys like john can pick up on tone differances from one guitar to the next even when its the same model

which part? I just reread my comment, he plays LF underwound pickups based of off the fender CS '69s. and yes guitar tones vary from one to the other even when its the same model. If you would like to point out something about my comment that is incorrect feel free to try. moron

@chillguitardude10 hey smart guy. Dude's not playing an American Deluxe. He's never played Fralin pickups either. That is more than likely a Custom Shop Strat, and if not, it's probably something vintage. AmDlx, please. Dude doesn't shop at Guitar Center. CS winds his pickups too.
