@nsgutube Thanks, I know that: What the fuck does it really mean? AS in what does the visual imagery represent? Might be some contemporaneous issue they were dealing with.
Maybe I am 'thinking' to much into it? Art analysis. I will listen closely again......
i remember the 1971 san fernando earthquake ,i live in san fernando, and at that time jimmy page was in malibu on coast,so he felt how stong it was 7.1 and the lyrics to going to california "mtn & canyons start to tremble & shake" came from that moment of time, not known to many, but i love that fact.-kin ship to me.
I actually met someone once that didn't know who Led Zeppelin was. He was born before 1985 like me. I don't understand him. I can't imagine living 25+ years without ever knowing Led Zeppelin..
When we take a look at physical merits led zeppelin takes the cake. But on a emotional level, if you want to listen to songs that you just listen to holding your girl. NOTHING beats The Beatles
In 1972 when I was just 10 years old, my brother and I taped Black Dog and Stairway off of the radio on a Tanberg reel to reel my Father brought back from Denmark on one of his U.S. Navy cruises. About a year later I got my hands on the album over at a cousin's house and listened to the entire thing. I was blown away.
It’s not just the songs. As I said, I’m not a huge Led Zepplin fan. I’ve heard some of these songs individually, and not thought that much about them.
But when they’re all played together, in order, it’s an amazing experience. Like Dark Side of the Moon
I have to be honest, I’m not a Zepplin fan. In fact, I’d probably swap towards disliking them! I only came on here after reading Rolling Stones top 500 all time albums list, and needing something to listen to at work.
This is seriously one of the most astounding pieces of music I think I’ve ever heard
ascoltarli e' rivivere grandi emozioni, anche se ero bambino e li ho scoperti piu' tardi e'sentire il sangue che ti scorre nelle vene e pulsaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
In concert production it was truly amazing.Page Firing guitar licks that were never surpast.
The first time I saw Led Zep they were backup to Ithink it was Vanilla Fudge.Zep had us rocken hard the whole place was having a party. Then the Fudge came on and what a let down from the Zep a year after that Led Zepplin's first album .Rocked the charts and the rest is history. What a band..I love them and the memory.
it makes me sad to think that my generation is all off listening to god-knows-what, while im here listening to zeppelin's greatest record, alone. i wish i had a time machine... at least you guys below got to experience it when it happened
@ipukerainbowz hey when i was at school i(79) i was the only heavy rock kid out of 500 kids(well i had one mate but he would not dare to have long hair)the rest were mods i got a few kickings to try to convert me.not as painfull as crap music though!you have to pay for your good taste.its better not to be a sheep.
There is no doubt in my mind that the band is awesome however without RP's vocal there is really nothing more here than a really good blues rock band. The tunes are exceptional too.
Oh my God! Youtube has a really HUGE mistake! Just beside the like button there's a dislike button! They must be wrong... you can't dislike this masterpiece!
this band makes me cry.. that every other band wanted to be The Mighty Zep!!!
