painsbuys need to hire some more fucking staff instead of running all there staff into the ground causing them all sorts of problems just so they can get there multimillion pound bonuses
Once, Sainsbury's used to be the upmarket place to go. Since the late nineties it lost that title to M&S food then along came Waitrose rendering Sainsbury's to being just another supermarket alongside (at the time) Tesco, ASDA, Safeway and Morrisons now its just the big four. Sainsbury's will never be on top. Tesco(1ist) owns too much, ASDA (2nd) is cheaper then its Sainsbury's which even when i worked there in 2000 resented 3rd place Morrisons 4th but is closing the gap!
He left and reported the company to Trading Standards, who fined Ten Sainsbury's supermarkets thousands of pounds and decided to set his own business up to sell high-quality food for which he has won many awards.
Anyone who thinks that Sainsbury's food is better quality are deluded..My Uncle was a regional manager and he covered the East of England store region and he saw colleagues at various branches commit some of the most appalling breaches of hygeine standards on the fresh counters while he was undercover, that included cross-contamination..He runs his own successful deli and patisserie now..Never use a supermarket Salad Bar at Sainsbury's or Morrisons unless you want Salmonella or E- Coli.
1982FMJ your talking bolocks mate. Trading standards wouldn't allow it. In fact companies like sainsburys and waitrows buy in better quality food then the likes of asda and tesco. The keep it at a better quality through lower temperatures and shorter date codes so u get best quality. As the saying goes you get what u pay for.
Stand by the motorway bridge and all you will see is TESCOS lorrys FACT...followed by the cascow money vans shipping all you local money out the area where the money is needed for the local trades men. No work lads stop wasting your money at the dominating supermarkets then. You mite find your community has some money left over for you guys, prob not supermarkets have automated tills, so join the dole ques...TESCOS EVRY LITTLE HELPS WHO EXACTLY??? THEMSELVES ONLY TRUTH
No recession for the supermarkets..no local money circulating in your area either. Thank yourselves for spending your local money at theses places. It's not rocket science...rather like they control the monopoly, monkey see, monkey do! watch the adverts there helping you, Conditioning reprogramming you for shopping at the supermarkets. Enjoy trying to find work tradesmen, because there wont be any money in your customer pocket as theyve spent it at the supermarkets.Staff work for food reward...
all supermarkets buy in all the low grade qaulity food as its is bought cheaper so they can sell it for more profit. the only place to buy good food is from a proper organic farm where the food is not picked from the plants before it is harvested.
I buy the same stuff every week, however when I go to Sainbury's, my bill always ends up being 30-40% dearer than if I had gone to Tesco or Asda. The store is also terrible for having special offers that don't show up at the checkout. The place if a fucking rip-off. Might as well burn money than go to Sainsbury's.
Talking of PRICE FIXING the Office of Fair Trade fined tobacco manufacturers & retailers £225 Million after a 7 year investigation into the pricing of tobacco products in the UK.
.
Two manufacturers Imperial Tobacco and Gallaher and 10 retailers Asda, The Co-operative Group, First Quench, Morrisons, One Stop Stores, Safeway, SAINSBURY'S, Shell, Somerfield and TM Retail were found to have engaged in illegal PRICE FIXING between 2001 & 2003,
@blastarrbollaxIII Yes, PRICE FIXING SAINSBURY have indeed dropped the price of their 200g value range soft cheese spread to 25p.
Up or down, they'd sooner put the price up, but as long as it's at a Non Competing rate the same as Tesco's & the rest as per their PRICE FIXING agreement between themselves, then that's fine with them.
Went into Tesco's today 04.03.2010 & what did I find, their 200g value range soft cheese spread which was 38p then 45p then put up to 54p two weeks ago is now can you believe it, 45p.
Can they leave TF the prices ALONE!.
Will pop into SAINSBURY's on Friday & see if these Price Fixers have brought theirs down as well.
It won't take them long, to Price Fix their food to non compete with the rest.
Maybe liebour have made a deal with the big 4 to bring prices down just before the General Election.
Sainsburys is a terrible company to work for - they are a bunch of sexist and racist bullie. The way they treat the women is terrible - NAME AND SHAME SAINSBURYS!
Hmm, look like what i've suggested is also wrong. i haven't finished listening to the album that i thought it as on, and i dont think its going to be on it.
'Sorry guys, looks like we still don't know anymore about it.
Looked it up but its completely different. I used another thing which told me it was some random Jazz piece which was wrong too. According to an advert site, it's called Timeline, by Charlie di Placido Jenkins

Why wouldn't they hire women back then if they could? You could pay them less! Probably a fair amount of long term male workers lost their jobs.
Yet they portray themselves as though they were foreward thinking and modern!

Ever been in Sainsburys and been filled with rage when the self-service tills Dalek like screams - 'unexpected item in the bagging area' ?
The phrase "unexpected item in the bagging area" is so synonymous with the 21st Century shopping experience it's now become a cult T-shirt slogan.

Totally SHOCKED!.
Went into Tesco's today 18/03/2010 & the price of their 200g value range soft cheese spread was
25p.
I see what they have done, with these products mostly brought by liebour voters & skinflints:
they've put the prices up 2 to 3 months before the General Election only to bring them down shorty before it.
I'll check out the price at SAINSBURY's tomorrow, it'll be PRICE FIXED to Tesco's by the weeks end.
How much more proof will be needed that supermarkets are PRICE FIXING!.

YES, I can confirm, after going in SAINSBURY'S the cheese is 45p.
Tesco's put their price up from 45p to 54p two weeks ago. SAINSBURY'S did the same.
Tesco's put their price down from 54p to 45p,
SAINSBURYS did the same.
Tesco's boss goes for a pee or better still jumps out his window, well, we can keep our fingers crossed on that one!.
I have never seen a worse case of PRICE FIXING,
they all should be LOCKED UP.
A million pound bribe to liebour party coffers goes a long way.

"The bast**ds have put the price up again".
Is what I said today in Sainsbury's upon seeing the price of their 'value' brand 24 Jaffa cakes.
Under 2 months ago they were 38p. Then 48p. Last week raised to 54p.
Now today they're 59p.
Sainsbury's have to understand that some people ONLY buy the value brands cause that is all they CAN afford.
PRICE FIXING the food & putting it up over 50% is adversely affecting Millions of people.
Are the poor getting 50% increase in wages!.
Sainsburys you pigs.
blastarrbollaxIII 2 years ago
@blastarrbollaxIII
Yes mate, SAINSBURY's have put the price up yet again, as of 2nd april 2010 their 'value' brand 24 Jaffa cakes are now 64p.
It's gone from 38p to 48p to 54p to 59p to 64p. in 3 months.
SAINSBURY's you rotten Bas**rds.
.
Come the day, not only will MP's line the wall, but CEO's of Supermarkets will be there as well.
blastarrbollaxIII 1 year ago
Maybe Sainsbury's would like to advertise their 200g value range soft cheese spread.
It was 38p, then it was put up by 18% to 45p.
After seeing Tesco's 54p version recently,
I went into Sainsbury's today still priced at 45p.
Got to the till & the price was, yes you've guessed it...54p.
Lazy-ass staff.
A 20% INCREASE on top of a 18% increase.
WHY.
Cause their PRICE FIXING buddies Tesco put their's up.
I'm sick of all the price fixing, one day these supermarket bastards will be EXTERMINATED.
