Secondly, the Eclipse soundtrack to which you refer is pretty damn solid, and features other respected artists like Beck, Cee-Lo, The Black Keys and Muse. It compliments the film but has no problem standing alone (and yes, Twilight culture scares the shit out of me).

Apart from the 3 legit bands he's in, he's invested in Third Man Records, collaborating with old and new artists, helping to reviving vinyl's popularity (which is a wonderful way to experience music) when technology and instant gratification have cheapened our experience with music. He seems extremely logical and ethical in his approach, so I'd personally say he's doing the exact opposite - and keeping integrity alive.
