  • RIP, headphone users.

  • I seem to be in that weird part of youtube again O.o

  • anyone who doesen't grasp the concept of this is a punk-ass bitch.

  • @Osthropek .......

  • @MPSecare §

  • fucking shit

  • what the heck was that noise

  • I posted this on /mu/.

    Everyone liked it.

  • my speakers were raped

  • Cyborg Diarrhea.

  • He has 666 Videos O_o

  • I sing this in the shower from time to time.

  • the soundtrack of my nightmares

  • HITLER IS COMING

  • not just noise...this is line of negative

  • I'm sorry, but this is just noise...

  • @arnoldscat That's the point. People actually like this nonsense.

  • @arnoldscat And?

  • @arnoldscat

Apparently you are new to the noise genre. Welcome to the truly weird part of youtube, enjoy your stay.

  • @JamestheCheetah Ive seen weirder shit that this. I just do not see how people can listen to this. It goes against everything that makes music...

  • @arnoldscat go listen to Masonna, Hanatarash & Gerogerigegege, and yes, this is not music, otherwise it won't be called Noise/Harsh Noise

  • @DaedalSphallolalia What about Sci-fi noise?

  • I don't get it. I want to get it, but I don't get it.

  • @Calvinios This sound is acquired. Start off with something easier to swallow like Mental Destruction or Mz412. You'll start to hear the musical nuances in bands like Merzbow soon enough.

  • @serialclone Yeah surprisingly most noise/power electronics has structure, it's just so complex and/or layered that most people don't see it. If it was all random, there would be no real texture to it and it would just be static.

  • @squezey1 yeahsh u rite

  • Just listened through the whole song. My ears bleed, but it was awesome in some weird kind of way.

  • never listening that when getting sleep

  • SUPER COOL SHIT

  • sooooooo relaxingggg. gonna put on a hot bath and listen to this.

  • Erm... wat.

  • SNIX SNIX SNIX

  • I lissening this song again again again a I see i this sound new world for everytime

  • Me love this

  • It feels like I'm getting my ear canals powerwashed.

  • I would probably enjoy listening to this if it didn't creep the living shot out of me. Not to insult any of you guys, but how is this pleasuring to listen to? It would be appreciated if I could have someone else's input.

  • @thebacanaut1 I personally am a huge fan of this music, but do not find it pleasurable to listen to at all! lol I think it's not really the kind of music that's meant to sound comforting. It's just meant to intrigue and perplex the listener. To transcend reason and provide a pure question, sort of. If that makes any sense.

  • @EcComicFan Kind of yeah. I like the chaotic madness of it. It's like watching a creepy/disturbing movie. You do it for the experience.

  • Shit man!! That beat starting at 0:03 is fucking massive!! Love it!

  • what the flying fuck

    this is terrible

  • Oh i'm soooo gonna start a noise project like this!

  • Fascinating

  • How would one go about making something like this?

  • @LiNaK37 its fun

  • @LiNaK37 by making a lot of noise. Its actually not that difficult to make, only to make it sound half decent is the hard part

  • @LiNaK37 Turn your monitors on and max the gain, then get a really rusty old trs adapter on the end of your speaker cable and run it across a steel washboard. Record the resulting sound on tape, then you chew the tape and shout at it for a bit.

  • The feeling I love the most is listening to this all the way through and then that first few seconds of silence after it ends...

  • I wonder what his pro-tools projects look like...

  • @szzanti

He uses Max/msp and it's quite messy

He also set up a plug-in for anyone who wants to try it out lol

  • @dudewutyeah whoa... :O cool! thanks for the info mate.

  • hahahahhahaha i`ll just die and i wont see everything in this world.

to this be an art it needs just some fuckin intellectual to say with extreme complicates words that this is art and somebody would believe, even become a real pscho-fan.

as i like to say: "taste is like arms,no everybody has!!!"

  • @deusdetodososdeuses well, Merzbow has a degree on fine arts

  • Chaos. The complete infolding of life itself, hell. This is noise.

  • ЭТО ЧТО ЗА ХУЙНЯ?Я В НЕДОУМЕНИИ.

  • ..Fascinating

  • Very Bowiesque....

  • @justinmikov It feels good to listen to it

  • This is the kind of song that do not need to be remixed, because it can't be.

  • Noise is for heroes

  • what the FUCK is this?

  • @DanielHarel The excellent art of noise.

  • Yeah, hating on Merzbow is cool, right? Ha ha ha oh wow, you guys sure are clever.

See, that's the beauty of noise culture. It doesn't force itself in your face with gimmicky bullshit to make itself more "accessible". It is what it is.

  • Comment removed

  • i'm not sure if my speakers are breaking or if that's just the music, but i like it.

  • 18 people couldn't FVNSJFSDHFHYFDFGFGFGFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

  • @DinosaurSuccess I would usually flag a comment like that, but holy fuck that's funny! xD

  • @DinosaurSuccess lol!!

  • 18 people disliked this because their eardrums exploded.

  • A copious amount of LSD + A room made of speakers playing Merzbow = What hell must be like

  • I don't understand this type of "music", to use the term loosely.

I don't want to understand it, because that means I have to listen to more of it.

  • Wow, I am ripped right now and this has taken on a whole new level of scary.

  • 666 uploads, coinsidence? I don't think so.

  • I have no idea whether I like this or not. Maybe its too complicated for me to enjoy it?

  • Gotta give him credit for being able to actually sell this shit.

    It's like grindcore, but worse

  • 95% of you are fucking stupid. This is art. If you don't like it then you don't like it, but it is art and it took time to create and perfect. Some people look at abstract art and think its a bunch of random crap, but some people analyze it and really enjoy it. Like abstract art, If you really listen to Merzbow or other noise artists you will start to find things you enjoy about it. I don't like this song in particular, but I really do like Minus Zero.

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • After listening to this with headphones, i appreciate the silence so much more!!!

  • @Underdogpiano the same here lol

  • Ok so i just discovered Merzbow and i love it!

You people have any weird symptoms for listening to long to merzbow xD??

  • "If I can actually manage to sell a recording of me chewing on a microphone for six minutes, I'll know for certain music is dead." - Merzbow

  • This must be the sound of a dental drill while is opening a hole in a tooth, if you could hear it from inside the tooth...

  • Comment removed

  • music vs noise

  • NO

  • Worst. Fucking. Song. Ever.

And that's coming from someone who's heard Train. :D

  • im, uh

  • It's so... Hypnotic...

  • THIS IS THE MOST AWFULL TRACK I`VE EVER HEARD

AND IT STARTS WAY TOO LOUD

What was your f***ing plan with this shit? To destroy everbodys ears?

    H O R R I B L E !!!

  • @wortflorist yes

  • @wortflorist you are a fucking retard

  • @cyberxdeth

Complete inability criticism in connection with bad behaving

are essential properties of the Internet community :)

  • @wortflorist have you met my friend his name is george he likes pineapples

  • @squezey1 noise is one of the hardest kinds of music to create

  • @Wurminfektion No, you just synthesize a bunch of static and white noise. It takes no musical knowledge or rhythmic ability. I'd say jazz or baroque is definitely some of the hardest types of music to create.

  • @srs32896

Try arranging that in a way that gets people to enjoy it and we'll talk about how much ability you really have.

  • @Darkiver I'm not talking about my ability, and it's not as hard to arrange static and distortion in a way to get people to enjoy it as much as it is hard to arrange scales, chords, rhythms, and emotions to get people to enjoy. Jazz musicians are definitely some of the most talented musicians out there.

  • @srs32896 Am I the only one who thinks this guy is an incredibly stupid musical bigot?

  • @frididjurhuus Okay now please back it up

  • @srs32896 You're saying stuff like this music doesn't take talent to create and jazz is much harder. Sure one could just mix mash some random stuff together in noise, but that's also possible in jazz. The good stuff is usually very carefully constructed and musical knowledge is as much required to make this as it is to make jazz, none at all. But if you really want to make a good piece, knowledge is generally required. You obviously do not know much about noise.

  • "It takes no musical knowledge or Rhythm ability." I never said it takes NO talent. Of course it takes some. My point is that Jazz musicians have a lot more talent than Merzbow and that cannot and should not be argued against.

  • @frididjurhuus No, Jazz is a very complex genre. I'm not hating against merzbow, I love it, but jazz is complex. I don't know how hard it is to make music like merzbow, but just from the impression i get, jazz sounds a lot harder to make than noise. But I do not hate merzbow/noise..

  • @KurdtKobain09 I'm not saying Jazz isn't complex. Check out this example, Metal. You see, a lot of metal songs are very easy and simple to make (not saying that's a bad thing), but there still are a lot of metal that's some of the most complex stuff around, thus you can't say Metal is not a complex genre nor that any other genre is more complex.

  • Merzbow is the musical equivalent of huffing spray paint. It has violent effects on your brain and leaves you wired, paranoid and fucked up.

    I love it.

  • wheres the music?

  • @1966ANG It doesent always have to be about music you know? It just needs to be enjoyable to lisen to in some way, i understand why some people dont like it, and i wouldent call it music either... but it sounds really cool...

  • wtf is this shit its horrible

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA You don't even know what *art* is! Now go back listening to lady gaga!

  • @TheDepressed100 no, i listen to pendulum, music that isnt just distorted fucking noises

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA What about you pawn someone you hate by making them putting their earphones and turn up the volume up?

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA Music is defined as anything you can listen to that you can enjoy, what don't like doesn't define what isn't music. People can listen to birds chirping and see it as music when it most likely isn't to the birds themselves. For example Pendulum sucks and you should go listen to some real drum and bass but it's still music.

  • @squezey1

    1. music: 'The art or science of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion"

    2. pendulum isnt drum and bass, they are a mixture of rock and drum and bass, their own genre, and it is awesome.

    3. i can make this music by plugging an amp into a cat's ass

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA Anything can be used as instrument, like I said just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not music. Merzbow has plenty of expression of emotion. Something doesn't need beauty, harmony, and emotional expression altogether to be music. Yes it may be easy to create noise but who cares about skill if I like the way it sounds. When you listen to Merzbow you are not listening to "typical music" so it shouldn't be treated as that, you're seeing it the wrong way.

  • @squezey1 you are cirrect, i am not listening to typical music i am listening to an amp plugged into a cats ass

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA

An often-cited definition of music, coined by Edgard Varèse, is that it is "organized sound" (Goldman 1961, 133).

This is music. You might not like it, and that would be perfectly understandable, but it doesn't void the fact that this is "sound" and is "organized", with purpose and intent.

  • @aluked organised? all it is is a bunch of distortion

  • I love that the first two seconds sound like a severely distorted version of Pig Destroyer's "Thumbsucker."

  • This is the worst thing I've ever heard, yet I can't stop listening

  • @fat8622 I know. This is like an ear rape music but this is not bad, still i like white hospital better.

  • i think i just shat my brain.

  • nothing short of poetry

  • What the hell is Nyan Cat doing in the list of recommended videos?

  • REPENT TO YOUR LOCAL CHURCH TODAY FOR BEING EXPOSED TO THIS ABOMINATION OF GOD JAPANEESE SATANIST.

FIRST PEARL HARBOR, NOW THE BRUTAL, UNTHINKABLE CONTANIMATION OF YOUNG MINDS OF THIS. I HONESTLY NEVER BELIVED THAT NOT EVEN THE MOST GOD-HATING HEATHEN WOULD EVER THINK OF SOMETHING AS THIS..... BUT NOW MY EYES HAVE BEEN OPEN. WE MUST FIGHT AGAINST THIS SICKNESS! REPENT NOW AND THUMB UP THIS POST IF YOU AGREE AND DETEST SATAN AND EVERYTHING HE STANDS FOR, FOUND IN THIS HELLISH "MUSIC"!

  • @Iamcola65 U mad?

  • @AbnormalProLTD INTERNET MEMES WON'T HELP YOU ANYMORE!

But don't worry, there's plenty of 4chan in hell.

  • @Iamcola65 Good, because that's where I plan on going.

  • @Iamcola65 lol, fuck you

  • @Iamcola65 What makes this music any worse than any other music out there? Especially rap which talks about having sex before marriage and getting raped and performing sins Considering this music doesn't have any lyrics and to make something like this requires more consideration since it needs to fuck with your brain, it has more ART in it then any other music I've come to know, is it pleasant to most? No. Is it creepy? Absolutely. And that's why we love it. gtfo with your embodiment of the sun

  • @Iamcola65 this has nothing to do with satan its just shitty music

  • This song has nothing to do with Hell or Satan.

  • As I'm listening to this kortisoli has uploaded 666 videos...

Excellent I must say, though Ananga Ranga stays my favorite!

  • Is this what the music in hell sounds like? If so I'm going to church right now cause i never wanna punish my ears with this "music" again.

  • What the fuck was that?

  • JESUS FUCK THAT SCARED THE BALLS OFF ME

  • It's been awhile since I heard this. Thanks for uploading it!

  • It's been awhile scince I heard this. Thanks for uploading it!

  • never though id hear EVEN WORSE ear rape than cannibalism of machines

  • LOL try to listen this with nyancat :DDDD

  • This would be Freakin` epic if this was the noise they used for the radio in Slient Hill

  • The perfect loud neighbor noise revenge music. I wish Merzbow would move here.

  • 2:35 sounds like donald duck is possessed by devil :D

  • fuck! what is that?!?!?!?!?! looks like destroyed radio...

  • This is actually very very musical and poetic, you just have to listen closely. :))

  • Lovely! This is indescribable, I bought the album last year after hearing this track...

Seen Merzbow live somewhere here in Amsterdam years ago, before I ever heard any of his music, but this one's in my humble opinion quite "easy listening for the hard of hearing".... :p

  • I don't think Merzbow is intending to be repulsive or scare people.

thats such a grave mistake people make when they hear any of his tracks.

  • Damn...What the hell is that?

Sounds like broken radio in crazy monkey's ass...

  • i didint enjoy this but i got an erection listening 2 it, the fuck?

  • @fudman02 o.o

  • Oh Masami... I'm so glad you exist.

  • This track would be good for horror film!

  • @54ck3r2

I'm going to do that! I want to make some scary as hell repulsive horror movies when I grow up. AND FOR THE SOUNDTRACKS, I will put NOISE, DARK AMBIENT, Etc. :)

I'm not lying either... I still don't understand why no modern day Horror film director has even heard of Noise Music... seriously.

  • The Soundtrack to hell, made official by Masami Akita (Merzbow).

Sit down, shut the fuck up, and let your ears implode and your mind be driven on a wild, crazy as hell, and fucked up Bad Acid Trip.

Thank you for choosing Flight 666 As your ride to Apocalypse Central! ;)

But seriously, thank you for uploading this shit... I remember the other video of this got deleted... :D

  • @Leeccdoo2

Not a "Soundtrack to hell", more like soundtrack of hell, as experienced daily. I think he's a genius and I would dance to this if only I had a body of flesh and bones covered with skin.

  • @notnowliberty

I would jump up and down, then all around and shake my head repeatedly in all different directions, then scream "BLOODY FUCKING MURDER!" for no apparent reason which causes dozens of people to stare weirdly at me like - o.O? and then I'll laugh like I'm fucking possessed by the devil who had just sold me a hooker with a lazy eye, then go over to the nearest church and hand out free candy (with snippets of LSD) to random children. All of this while still listening to Merzbow.

  • @Leeccdoo2

I'm quite plesed with the sounds Merzbow provides me, and despite my profound (LSD induced?) fears of Godzilla and take-away whale meat lunches in the streets, I'm quite all right :)

  • @Leeccdoo2 This isn't the music to hell. This is just noise. The soundtrack of hell would be deeper. It'd probably be real music too.

  • @srs32896

Nah bro. This is the soundtrack to hell. ;)

Just like Masami wanted it to sound like.

    Pure Genius!

  • @srs32896 "This is just noise" - yup. Noise music :-)

  • thanks for uploading this! one of my favourite merzbow records
