most STS-V owners would never change the wheels being that they were designed specifically for STS-V weight, and balance otherwise will effect your mpg, suspension, and above all performance. I have one in my garage, 2009 only 96 were built that year and so far lots of SRT8 have tried me but none succeeded

I will run any n/a srt8 - the jeep for $200 in the spring at any track in MD/NJ. No nos turbos/suppercharger. And on street tires like me and full weight. Driven to and from the track. Cam/heads headers cut outs that's fine. Race gas go for it. Now let's see who takes the bate my caddy is hungggry.

Bring that str8 my way and find out what a modded stsv runs like. My stsv could beat a srt8 stock try 13.02@106. I now run 11.97@114 so try my stsv and see what happens.

STS-V's are quick, but not as quick as the CTS-V by any standard. Completely different animals. SRT-8 has a huge upper hand here, even stock.

hell ya! im not a big mopar guy and i have my hands full with a gen1 gen2 gen3 s.h.o. people wanting to race me all the time. i hate gm and am a behind the door mopar guy, which is why i feel bad when i beat srt8s with my twin turbo sho and a s/c gen1 sho and ive beatn an srt8 challenger with my sct tuned and other light mods gen2 v8. they need to lighten the mopars up man. there is nothing prettier then a mopar killin gms pride a s/c 6.2l zo6 vette engine. ive gotten killd by ctsv in the gen2.
