  • my favorite line is when Jack says ohhhh monday morning, ain't my favorite time.

  • Some people don't seem to want to give Page any credit, BUT, Long before this album was conceived, Page was doing studio work for the Kinks and other Major British Wave Bands and He turned down the opportunity to replace Clapton in the Yardbirds, and instead introduced Beck to the Yardbirds. It was Later that he joined and replaced Samwell Paul Smith. and then replaced Beck!

  • @Wardell43 - and exactly how is this relevant to Baker, Bruce and Clapton?

  • @premeditator hmm, if you try following the previous post, there is the attempt to claim Page stole something from Eric.

I don't see that at all. Page was an established player long before this album was released.

it's not relevant to "Baker, Bruce and Clapton?", it was relevant to some of the previous post.

  • @stephengatelyfan Do you mean this particular song? - this genre (Psychadelic)? - or this band? - or this era of music?

Personally, I love 60s/70s music, I love cream, I tolerate psychadelic (I'd love it if I were high), and I can't make heads or tails of this song.

  • Should've been "Artist - Song".

  • this music is awesome, but the mixing of it frustrates me, i know they didn't have much choice back when they just started using stereo, but i've heard records from that specific year that were better mixed than this...i'm not trying to slam cream, their music is incredible, but i just really don't like how the drums and bass are all the way over to the right side, and how they seem so quiet, and how the vocals and lead guitar are all the way to the left and seem so much louder by comparison

  • @RiseOfTheFool I know what you mean dude, Piper at the Gates of Dawn came out a year after this and it had amazing mixing.

  • You can see here where Jimmy Page got some of his stuff, he copied a lot of this style.

  • Such a shame that there are no more real power trios like cream

  • Clapton's guitar solo in this song is one of the best solos in history!

  • I'm A Sleepy Time BABY!

  • I used to dance to Cream playing live at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit in 1967!

  • @Zedwoman No you didn't.

  • @Zedwoman - I have a copy of the bootleg of that same show. What an awesome performance they put on at that gig!

  • wow 43 plus years old... by far.. the greatest rock trio.. in history !!!!! and to think.... eric clapton... jack bruce and ginger baker... still tour and do gigs... to bad rarely together... blues/jazz at it's purist !!!

  • Good old Clapton!Happy early birthday BTW Eric

  • So am I!

    A fabulous album/band/time in music

  • This whole album rules.
