Hi Mony, There was no rain in Brisbane. It was raining in Melbourne when I left (which you can see in the photo's). I think it was sunny each day in Queensland. Warmer too. I think October is the latest time in the year for me to enjoy Queensland because November through to March it's just too hot for me, being a semi-tropical climate. Thanks for commenting! :)
Thanks Curt. My brother-in-law has been working for a local domestic airline for about a year now and recently qualified for staff discounted fares + choose 3 family members who can go in on that. The flight cost $60 each way.. normally $200-$250 each way or $150 one way on sale. So it was great especially as I paid 50 bucks and Liz paid the rest for me. However the catch was that I flew 'standby'! I wasn't bumped though.

To be honest not really - unless it's a very very long flight. Not sure why though - maybe for the same reasons I like to cruise on smaller ships vs. the mega ships they put out there. More intimate maybe? But not sure.

Hi Maryann, I've missed seeing you around! I love it that you think I always seem to be travelling. Doesn't feel like it to me, but it's kind-of how I'd like it to be. Getting on a plane, going somewhere. There actually *was* anxiety involved. During all stages, before, during & after. Especially as I'd prefer to share my travels and not travel alone. I consciously pushed through (wasn't easy). And leaned on God. Thank you for the compliments. I hope you're well? xox
