The first time I heard this song was while performing in the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo in 1990. The bagpipes, massed bands and chior performed it during the finale.

my first Abba Album was Abba Arrival...on vinyl and I guess I must have been around 10 years old! ...in 1976....and my love for Abba has evolved through many changes but always their music and words have moved and lifted me! thank you so much dholm13 for this lovely song and video with it!!!!

@hlnl56 I see what you mean, the "times of joy and times of sorrow/We will always see it through" part does have similar melody I think when I listened to the hymn. Also reminds me of Auld Lang Syne, its that style of tune. It sounds just like an old folk song or hymn.
