  • Well taught. Two questions, if you don't mind:

    When you play the riff in G7, aren't you really playing G7-C6? In other words, when you play the C chord, don't you wind up playing an A on the top string?

    Also, what is the origin of the vocal melody you are using? It seems you are singing rather different notes from Junior Parker's or Elvis Presley's version.

  • No you wouldnt , you play the Cmaj triad with the G on top or in the bass.You could also play a C/E a Cmaj triad with an E in the bass.

    As for the singing I wouldnt compare me to Elvis!!! I just try an do it....cheers Rob
