i put my vid in sony vegas then saved it as 720p render and then uploaded and it said hd.

I got 2 parakeets, I wish I could give them away, they hate me for no reason, they pick on me. And are so freakin' annoying and don't learn anything. I tried to teach them to say hello for about 2 years now. 2 YEARS!!!!! I tried everything, they are just plain stupid. GOSH! I wish I would have went with those.

I used the flip software that came with it. It is supposed to automate the process. Kinda defeats the purpose if I have do upload outside the software doesn' it?

yes but flipshare increasing the quality, you must to upload the original video (if you want HD)

after, to view the video in HD add &fmt=22 at the end of the url

I understand, but that defeats the purpose of the software. Ease of instant uploading to YouTube is one of its selling points. If I have to make another step, then a significant advantage to the Flip over the Kodak or the Sanya is done away with. I am testing to decide which one I want. If I have to do an extra step, that is bad thing. You don't have to add that tip as there is a link right on the page under the video that says "view in high quality"

I really like it so far. The software truly is seamless and easy. I actually bought three mini-cams that I am trying. I like the sleek form factor of this. Tomorrow I will be trying the Kodak. The advantage of the Kodak is that it runs on AA batteries (so you can carry extra juice) and records on memory cards (so you can shoot all day without having to dump into a computer). I am going to be covering Macworld, so I will probably keep both, and sell one of them after Macworld.

cool i think i want one i saw a good video comparing the Kodak and the flip HD and they both have pros and cons but i think i like the small sleek mino HD because its so easy to Carry

I saw that vid. The Flip is definitely sleeker. Plus the Kodak one I have is pink. That is fine for me, but I can't imagine that being cool with everyone. I also bought (don't have yet) an underwater capable Sanyo Xacti. Really not sure what I am going to end up keeping, something will end up on ebay in February.

although the kodaks picture looked alot better but the guy said it drops frames whatever that means not good i suppose also saw some side by sides of the flip HD and the older flip and the older one looked alot better to me on youtube maybe because the lower quality looks better on youtube i really dont know but im definitely interested in it.
