  • ...fire in the head, fire in the heart! ...and never less!!! I love this song too:))

  • I LOVE THIS SONG, YA MAN.

  • Absolutely fantastic version of Peter Tosh's version. Sinead, as always you rock. Downpressor man, where you gonna run to on that day?

  • F*A*N*T*A*S*T*I*C*

  • wicked quality -love it , love Sinead, thanks for the posts

  • sung better then tosh...x sorry but it is...x :)

  • LOVE THIS WOMAN, LOVE, THIS SONG, LOVE THIS VERSION

  • One Love :) Jah Bless.. R.I.P in Memoriam... Robert Nesta Marley 11 May...

  • class act you , dame pure dame

  • savage track one of the best , well done, you can make tunes out of bark, take a bow

  • best coole muziek

  • vive tosh rasta révo

  • Stupid comments about Natalie Portman is an insult to this song. Sinead did a heartfelt version, though you cannot recreate Tosh. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

  • This should be the new theme for the downtrodden middle class. Good job Sinead

  • ur voice was so nice I tough you look pretty then you are

  • Wicked sistren......

  • amazing

  • OMG at 0:35 also ... dude, that's not Sinead, that's Natalie Portman

  • @cla855 ok=my mistake. oops;p

  • @zephir332 same difference :P

  • @cla855 Natalie Portman- and so...? You don`t like Natalie Portman? Freedom for Natalie Portman! heh

  • @zephir332 no dude, I have nothing against Natalie Portman, but this is a video about Sinead O'Connor and the song is by Sinead O'Connor

  • @cla855 actually original is by Peter Tosh....i don't like him Tosh (though I am black) because he was a bit militant but i like the cover she has for Burning Spear. sorry, don't mean to judge or berate...just to make sure anybody else that sees it realizes these are songs born out of great desperation and pain in the 70s when JA and the whole carribean was tumultious

  • @firecamedown yeah I know it's by Tosh. That whole album (Throw Down Your Arms) is covers. I was just saying this version is by Sinead.

  • @firecamedown Too Militant? Wow!!

  • @zephir332 LOL. Natalie Portman's smiling, misplaced face cracked me up.

  • @cla855 LMAO

  • @cla855 and at 3:58!

  • @cla855 sorry 4:01

  • so good o much better dan peter tosh and he is good so this is the best....

  • I like this version as well as Tosh's version. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a LIVE-hard Peter Tosh fan,but I like this version. This so-called society is not geared for the truth. REAL TRUTH. Sinead is a REAL person and I love her. I think that Tosh would be proud of this because he would see that she knows the TRUTH.

  • blasphemy

  • i looooooooove this song !!!!

  • really...would never expect her to turn to rootz...!!! happy happy finding!

  • fantastic

  • I like her especially her reggae tunes. That said, how to you blow your nose when you have inserted a pin in it? ( Just asking, no insult meant.)

  • @ballyhairs cuz you have a long stupidity

  • HELP ME ... I CANT ST0P LISTENING IT 111 i just l0ved this versi0n..

  • Why throw F-bomb? This is terrible compared to Tosh.

  • Great cover !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely love her cover, and the original. I don't think the f-word ending works, though.

  • Sinead O Connor is incredible...she is not afraid of expressing her soul..

when injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty...when honesty and creativity are combined... it can only be beautiful. Ireland is proud of you Sinead, and those that don't like your music or have issues with your stance on things are the ones that need you the most..they will hopefully see in time...thank you for constantly being your beautiful self and in the process enlightening and educating people. <3 Respect

  • Sinead really is wonderful....

  • good song

  • Some of the pictures are not Sinead but are of Natalie Portman. But most are actually Sinead.

  • I remember this song by Nina Simone in 1969. It was called Sinner Man. This is an equally good song done a different way by that irascible, irrepressible, sensational, Irish Icon Sinead O'connor whom was shamefully shouted down in Canada after she condemned the hypocrisy of the Pope....history shows she is right.

  • Es war einge gute Idee, dieses Lied so einzustellen. H. M.

  • damn good cover, but it does not have the same vibe as tosh's, awesome anyway you look at it though.

  • what you goin on about?lol, the lyrics mean both!!

  • awesome!!!! left me speechless...

  • No offense to the great Tosh, but Sinead O'Connor's genius is really showing here----this is fire-in-the-belly extraordinary.

  • Tosh was wonderful, but it's no disrespect that Sinead can sing this song differently and do it in a way that reaches into your soul.

  • I agree!

  • why are there snapshots of natalie portman in this clip?

  • Better than the original. There,I said it.

  • u can say that you prefer....but better?? lol It make no sense....

  • Sinead often cover songs and does a fabulous job,and yes, better than the original.i like both, but Sinead just kills.Refer to Elton John singing his own song "Sacrifice" and then listen to Sinead's version.Case closed!

  • Im going ro repeat once again....IT MAKE NO SENSE AT ALL... Reggae music is no competition... if you prefer Sinead, good for you but keep it to yourself, avoid saying uh! .... and this is not a case, the only thing is closed is your opinion...bless

  • Oh,I see now.Yes,I should keep my opinions to myself. Discussing things is for adults. You know what changed my mind? It was your rudeness, abrasive attitude and the SHOUTING!! Those things always work when someone has a a differing opinion.Keep in touch and let us know how fourth grade goes next year.

  • you can have your preferences, but dont make comparisons...its simple.

  • My best to you from Comparison City.

    Seriously,I wish you well.

  • i want to say that this version is 10 times better than petes,i swear to God

  • that is the craziest bit of blarney i ever heard!!!!! sinead is brave-- but tosh rules. it is total respect that she does it.

  • doesnt sound like how she usually sounds, much better.

  • fantastic version and great singer!

Her voice flows from deph of her soul...

  • petarda 100% szacunek dla sinead

  • i love you sinead !

  • I agree

  • they will know you by your chain

  • hands held high..grinning face..shuffling and a skanking....love ya sinead

  • I love this version! But what´s up with the random Natalie Portman shot?

  • sinead

    st. sinead

    I prostrate myself before thee.

    You are magnificent.

Hold forth. You keep people like me afloat.

  • ..bywa. Rasta rulezzzz

  • bo życie bywa piękne...

  • I wholeheartedly agree with you that this Irish Lady has the Holy Spirit in her, just listen to Something Beautiful off Theology.

  • sinead hat ihren ganz eigenen zauber und sie berührt herzen...it's a fantastic version!!!!

  • throw down your arms

  • great collection of photoes...but why have you put Natalie Portman? Sinéad is better!

Sinéad rocks! fight the real enemy!

  • My new favorite song - thanks
