Wow didn't realize about this game and the Mercenaries 3D one, (wich doesn't make any sense at all) i might get a 3DS just for this, i am so happy that Capcom is returning to the original formula, i have seen gameplay of this and it really looks good for a handheld console.

@CaMote558 Have you even thought that this was before the spencer's mansion?, I think you are confusing the 1st Rsident Evil which was the Mansion incident where Chris and jill were STARS members, and the other Spencer's mansion,the Lost in Nightmare thing, where Chris and Jill faced Wesker as BSAA Members, as BSAA members Jill and Chris did alot more before RE5, there are even comic books about that, and also, It's confirmed that it's before RE5.

And somehow Jill believes Chris has betraded her. Plus look at Jill's hair. It's brown not blonde. After Chris and Jill's reunion in RE5 I doubt this is a sequel. I read an article (just search RE revelations on google) that the game is dark, scary, limited ammo and all that stuff. Just like the original games! NOTHING like action packed RE5. I'm sure Claire might be mentioned since she's so involved in anti-bio terror like they rest of the gang. I don't think she will be a playable character though since she's not even shown or mentioned in the trailer.

As for the "Old RE" this trailer seems to still have that glamor going on, like the completely face lifted Jill and Chris' $70 hair style/cut. And the Mexican standoffs between partners. I just stopped at Code Veronica and enjoyed RE4 as fanfiction. =/
