do some research.. there's a vid u can get from utorrent that shows lots of interviews from the whole band, and layne says himself in that vid that what they wrote about was misinterpretted by many people.
they were writing about experiences. they were trying to warn people of what could happen if u do these things.. sure, they all had their fun, esp layne, for a lonnnng time. but he never wrote anything to say "this is cool so do it"
