his marking and power was good, but to "play" great poomsae's are not count on your speed.you have to shows the movement and the attachment of every single techniques clearly, accurately and sharply, together with you correct breathing technique, energy and balance.not really impress me.try harder..
You are one of the few people I see that the forms correctly. Your style is very good. Marks every move very well and kicking (Poom). Very good poomsae
respect other comment pls. if u dont want to be corrected then do not post this. a good martial artist accept comments and even defeat.its only the views of the other so why bother if u think ur right then go ahead
I thought overall that pattern was really very sharp and precise. However i have to agree with Chris V's comments. You need to turn your bottom foot more on your side kick, not all of them though, dont get me wrong it was a good kick, just that will make it better. And occasional some of your punches were off centre. And between movements your shoulders and body movement looked a little stiff, just try to loosen up alittle, it will make you look more powerful. Good pattern over all though!
He didn't twist enough on his bottom foot to perform a proper side kick. Also, he was punching too high the entire time. Furthermore, he was tense through both poomsaes. There's a difference between power and tension.
I've been practicing since '78 and this video demonstrates excellent technique. Less than 1 in a 1000 will ever have the discipline to reach his level of technical precision, power, grace etc... Chris V's comments are proof of low-level understanding of the poomsae, the kukkiwon standards, and the art.
I think you really did sum it up chris- when you said you only know a thing or two. I have been doing sambo and taekwondo for near on 12 years or so. I thought on the whole his technique was fine.
