You might be right, but that would make a lot of other people wrong. Bettye LaVette covered Fiona's song, not the other way 'round. Bettye also covered tunes by Dolly Parton, Sinead O'Connor, & Lucinda Williams. Doing covers doesn't make her a bad artist, it just means you need to stop spamming this post with completely untrue nonsense. Just enjoy the song (either version) for they are both quite good, albeit, Fiona obviously takes the cake.
