Limited Snow Keeps Wolves Active Throughout the Enclosure

Wolves are such gorgeous creatures!! I especially love the gray ones!

P.S. I was able to see Malik and Shadow in Ely when they were just pups, and they liked my hands through the fence! It's one of my most precious memories!

And since we've no place to go...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Come on, we need that snow pile for the wolves to slide on again this winter! Thanks to all the staff in Ely for their dedication to caring for the wolves. Happy holidays!

A wonderful video of the wolves enjoying the snow and life itself. It's just amazing watching these wolfs being themselves. They are all getting along so well now and seem at peace. Malik is doing great in retirement and has even started "talkiing" back to his brother Shadow. Thanks to the IWC staff for their great care of these animals and I hope 2010 will be just as good.
