he doesn't sound any worse than he did in early live stuff....painful as it is for me to say, he was never a strong voice when it came to performing on tour. There is a lesson here for any young singers....do NOT push a voice to the top while making recordings, because fans expect it to sound the same live. If you can sing really great, save that performance(s) for the stages!!
not really. Listen to his voice. Who could do a better job than Lenny? If Page and co. would have gone on tour without plant, I don't see why Lenny would not be the most logical choice
dude please use logic. why would they use a singer from a zep clone wantabe band that has to tune down so far the song doesn't even sound the same. he has no range now. Using him would be a joke. it is all good you like this and everything but how could something like that be taken seriously.
you may have a point with the tuning down of the songs. I am not versed in the technicalities of keys. However, being in a zep clone band, which isn't entirely accurate by the way. Yeah the first cd could be considered a copy of led Zep, but the other cd's they mangaed to find their own style and have their own brand. Anyway, as I was saying, being in a clone band, should not disqualify someone for consideration in the band they are cloning. Especially considering who they were going to use.
What can you say,...The 2 Louisville boys aren't in the band,...James was a drummer fromm hell,.....
