Former arrests don't even matter because there have been politicians jailed for embezzlement scandals and the like just to return to politics once their sentence ends and they manage to occupy public office again.
He's just showing his racism and/or just wants attention. I do speak Spanish, but I'm actually Italian/German/Peruvian American. I don't speak Spanish very well anymore, but I can still understand 95%. Whenever I try to speak Spanish I want to speak Japanese.
