they were one of the best teams out there along with hope and crosby loved them I loved Dean forever and still do and Jerry too god bless him I know he isn't well these days. Look at Jerry's dance moves I think Michael Jackson used some of that neck and crotch moves he's doing there, I believe MJ was a fan as well and he was only about 2 years younger than me so we watched these guys in their prime.

I finally figured that out, too! Took me forever. You can see him "choking up" on the cord, leading up to that moment.

Now I want to know if Dean was really supposed to fall, or if he was just supposed to make a grab for the mic, and ended up tripping over the base. Anyway, definitely one of their best gags ever.

I think he was supposed to fall just because the camera followed him automatically and you couldn't see it freaking out like the one where Jerry goes crazy moving around. There's no telling with these two!
