Maybe the client was afraid to go more dramatic but it needs to be thinned out more on the bottom. It looks really heavy. It isn't a bad cut at all though. Some people are too critical. I would have liked it more stacked in the back and higher and possibly slicing through the ends to take some of the weight off.

Anyone who is against this bob are obvious vitcims of the "posh beckham bob syndrome", that of which is not a REAL bob but a disater. Bobs don't have crazy layers, they don't require an electric razor. They are all, for the most part, same lengthed and concaving. This is a PERFECT example of an A-lined bob, and one i'd like to see more often as opposed to those horrid shaved back with long strands at the front that people are trying to pass off as bobs.

im kinda with nikkichaffman; granted, her hair is cute, but i've cut my own A-Line...and this does seems like it needs more. The clients hair was already nearly cut into an A-Line w/o all the layers. The stylist should have (instead of chopping little pieces) cut her hair diagonally as her hand moved diagonally across the hair pieces. It looks great, it just should DEFINITELY have more layers, and you could have gotten that effect by cutting the hair diagonally....Great style though!

@tammiegoal yes its called point cutting..most hairstylists know it as point cutting..or you can say texturizing. it removes bulk and makes your bob appear less heavy and more bouncy.

it's all in the blow drying. Use a round brush and dig deeply into the roots to give you that lift. Even rotate the brush in order to make sure the hair a thoroughly dry and lifted. Use Cerum for shine. And colour hair with warm blondes if the hair is noticeably thin. But you can also get away with dark highlights mixed in with the blondes. like chocolate or hazel colours. This should give a healthy looking bob
