I have 2 Radius 1000's I rarily use them, both only have less than 6 hrs of play time on them. I went to go plug them in last week and both units have a disc error, these units are stored in a marathon road case and never leave my house. I am disgusted that now I will have to ship these back to American Audio and pay to have units repaired. as far as I'm concerned these are poorly made units

hey, um.... so im a DJ that uses my Hercules Midi controller, and i want to convert to CD table top players. Now i've heard a lot that the BPM counter on the 3000 sucks, How is it with the 1000? Is it better than the 3000?

I just got my radius 1000 fixed, and again i got the same reading DISC ERROR. im freakin tired of it.. it took them 3months to get me my units back. and now i have to send one back again. CAN YOU GUYS JUST TELL ME HOW I CAN FIX THEM MYSELF, because this is ridicules and loosing money.

i got two radius 1000's just before christmas with two marathon flight cases already had a fader start mixer and well tonite while mixing infront of 230 people my deck just shits all over me reading disc error WTF a virtual tidal wave of four letter words were about to come out of my mouth so i did a search on the net well it seems to be happening alot

hi got a problem with my radius 1000 ... I have it for more than a year but suddenly now when I put cd in it .. it just wouldn't run at all ... it gives me 'disc error' on screen ... i tried few more cds but same thing all the time... what could be wrong ? broken laser or motor? I'm rubbish with that :/ help pls

I think that if you press and hold one parameter knob, you can change the effect by moving the jog wheel left or right

there's no auto loop in the Radius 1000

I've been doing a research about these kind of CDJ(lower price CDJ),for me Denon DN-S 1200 is good too,it got a usb port(it's a USB 2.0,which it faster then pioneer CDJ-400 USB1.1),it's a midi,and you can hook up a keyborad to search your music in the usb stick,but one thing i don't like it's the plater...it's different to any CDJ out there,you can't pitch band by using the outside of the plater unless you switch to pitch band mode then use the plater as pitch band

Yes. You will need to send the audio from your mixer via the aux/effects send output into either a portable recording device such as the M-Audio MicroTrack or into your sound card inputs connected to your computer/laptop running Ableton, Logic etc...

nobody scratches on cdjs anyway so why does it matter, the only thing i ever use it for is backspins, if people want to scratch they should just get turntables

fair point, actually i recently bought turntables, any advice on how to stop you needle skipping, it's becomming a real pain in the ass. I'm using it with traktor scratch and even a moderate pull back on the record brings the needle back a couple of grooves

Hello,

The knob on the left controls the depth (msec) of the effect. The knob on the right controls the wet/dry (Level). You can dial in the perfect effect and then use the Hold button to keep it there, then adjust the volume up and down.

Hey, thanks, I understood that much :) But let's say you need to make the effect go from zero to full in your own time, without it following a synced frequency (I hear the flanger in the video goes up and down synced to the msec x parameter, can this be put to zero?)

Hey Tom/ADJ, quick question about the effects; I understand you can control the frequence of the wet/dry change with one knob, and the wet/dry amount with the other knob. If I want total control of the effect, is it possible to set the left knob to 0 msec and use the right knob to alter the effect without it changing? Thanks

It looks nice, but next time please make the presentation with audio directly from the device and not from the room. And the loop thing, how can you tell the difference when all three loops are very similar (audio). Bad, bad choice of loops to make a demo.
