  • Shit, just watching this makes me cringe.

  • 1:01 damn that chick behind Babcock is HOT.

  • 2:16 aaaand... woman on the right, freak out NOW!

  • what a pussy that guy is

  • Comment removed

  • That was obivously on purpose! He was looking right at Stewart when he did it.

  • brad stuart is one tough son of a bitch.

  • That was a massive elbow...

  • Watch the woman in white on the right of the end of the video. lol

  • what a fuckin dick

  • @MrLovernumber1

Oh so thats why he didnt get suspended. Use your eyes.

  • hey red wing manager, what good are your star players sitting in the hospital, wake up and smell the coffee and bring up another darren mcarrty from the minors!

  • @barryoneful haha you make me laugh =D

  • Intetional?...this asshole has a record a mile long of these type of hits......

  • he learned how to deliver cheap shots while in Montreal...go fuck yourself Canadian fans

  • Funny words coming from Mike Babcock with Todd f'ing Bertuzzi on his bench.

  • @megadoro420 k, and what does bertuzzi have to do with the hit on stuart?

  • @megadoro420

yea because todd bertuzzi played in a wings uniform when he did the dirty.

oh that also must mean todd bertuzzi is who this video is about not brad stuart.

    shut the fuck up.

  • Kostopoulos sux!!!!!!

  • 6 games was too much

  • That was BULLSHIT! That isn't hockey - that's criminal. He tried like hell to hurt Stuart. How can anyone look at this and call it sportsman-like at all? He could have broke his friggin neck. The league is all talk when it comes to headshots - especially with the Wings.

  • most of kostopoulos' body hit stuart in the chest not the head. don't think head was targeted but gritty players always try and finish their checks even if it's not the best to do it

  • @Arror69 You're absolutely blind and don't know a damn thing about being out there on the ice. That was one of the most obvious deliberate head shots I've ever seen. It was totally inhuman and outrageous.

  • @Nahash5150 or you're a biased wings fan? i PLAY hockey and have been playing it for 12 years so obviously i know what i'm talking about. think before you comment. damn kids.

  • @Arror69 LOL So Stuart broke his jaw with his OWN elbow. Yeah I get it. That's hockey. You know, 12 years of sitting on the bench don't mean shit. That check had intention to injure - it was a blindsided hit to the head while Stuart DID NOT HAVE THE PUCK. You're only allowed to check someone if they have the friggin puck. Maybe it will take you another 12 years to figure that out.

  • @Nahash5150 You know nothing about me, so stop assuming shit. the fact that you are taking this to heart screams "wings fan" why not shut the fuck up. i'm tired of getting comment notifications for your immaturity.

  • @Arror69 1:50 in gives the best view. Pushes his shoulder up into his jaw. If it was on purpose or not I don't know. Thats hockey though, try to do one thing something else happens.

  • Everyone that says he didn't deserve a suspension of 6 games or that Stuart needs to pick his head up and it's his fault is a moron. The guy went out of his way to hit him high and extended his elbow into his jaw as he was hitting him. I had my jaw broken and it hurt like hell. This was a dirty play, and if you can't see that, then you are either a biased Calgary fan or a moron. Or perhaps both.

  • Don't know why it was 6games? Here's why because it was a blindsided hit...he had no idea he was coming and we don't need another Matt cooke playing the game any time soon

  • i dont know how that was worth a 6 game suspension...

  • Fucken baby , get your head up, and pay attention

  • haha look at bertuzzi

  • bertuzzi should just keep his mouth shut lol he can't say anything...lol

  • That was intentional as hell! Look at him raise his arm to hit em!

  • It didn't look intentional & the six game suspension is understandable. If I was the referee in that game, Kotsopoulos would've got a game misconduct. That's intent to injure and this is the kind of thing the league needs to crack down on more than just the whole head contact issue.

  • what a dirty hit,i dont know did kostopoulos get any suspencion?

  • i am neither a flames or red wings fan...but this was a LEGAL hit...kostopoulus targeted the chest of a man who ATTEMPTED to play the puck...the fact that stuart was bent over slightly is not the fault or the problem of kostopoulus who is paid to check people. if stuart was "vulnerable" like the anouncer said, it was because he had a momentary lapse, in that people are going to run into you in the sport of hockey. lastly, lets be honest here; he was only suspended because he is a fringe player.

  • @iamdlerch Are you kidding me? Yes it was a LEGITIMATE hit, but in no way was it legal. As you can tell, he was in the box because of it. If it was a LEGAL hit, play would have went on and stuart would have been helped off the ice and thats the end of it. He already made a play on the puck and if you can tell, the puck is already being played by the Flames player right there. He led with the elbow and did it on purpose. Yes, hockey is fast, but that pre-meditated by his actions before and after.

  • @Lilswimer12 hold on you're telling me "legality" is based on whether or not a referee gives out a penalty...you're the one that must be kidding...and i suggest you look at the video again...stuart swung at the bouncing puck..i.e. made a play for it...which makes him a LEGAL target for a hit...heck his stick is still in motion from his attempt when he's hit. and lastly he did not lead with his elbow...if you knew anything about checking you would know a follow thru when you saw it.

  • @iamdlerch It doesn't matter if he didn't lead with an elbow, he hit him in the head. Stuart made a play for the puck, but there are cleaner ways to take somebody out of a play. Do yourself a favor and use your brain for once to come up with a logical argument before you spout off completely pointless bullshit.

  • @iamdlerch And that suspension ideal is absolute bull. The league trying to eliminate these types of hits so if anyone were to do them, they would be suspended. The reason you dont see big name players getting suspended for this hits is because they are smart enough to know that it is not needed and they and their team will suffer if they are dumb enough to do crap like that. Post something on here when you actually watch hockey and not highlights

  • @Lilswimer12 "absolut bull" huh?? well then why was joe thornton only suspended for 2 games earlier this year? and trust me i watch as much hockey as humanly possible...colin campbell is a pawn...and a dumb and hypocritical one at that. as for "not needed" what isn't needed? checking?? it was a clean hit to a guy who was bent over slightly and dumb enough to watch the puck too long. kostopoulus was trying to hit him in the chest, and because stuart was looking down he got caught in the chin.

  • @iamdlerch

Where do you suggest he look when trying to clear the puck from the front of the net? Into the rafters? His mind was on preventing the Flames from scoring, you know, being a defenseman. The arms come up - it is clearly obvious. Lay Stuart out, that's fine, but he had a lot more of Stuart he could have hit that wasn't his face.

  • headshot, interference, somewhat of a charge, and only 6 games.. i'd say like 10 or something.. he lifted his shoulder right into his head... i mean only 6 games.. come on NHL, you are trying to PREVENT head shots.. really

  • hit to the head, didn't even have the puck plus injured a good player... don't see how anyone can say he didn't deserve the suspension, i wouldve made it even longer

  • stop arguing! either way it's a suspension because it was a head shot. the NHL is trying to stop those. dirty or clean, he's gone.

  • he deserved the suspension because if u look at it, Stuart didn't really touch just tried to hit it.. and the NHL is trying to stop head shots.. technecly whether or not it was clean or dirty, it was a head shot and he's gone either way.

  • it's easy to say he was "targeting the head" when watching it in super slow motion....very easy. The game is fast paced, the "fastest game on earth" as they use to say. Things happen in a split of a second...Kos commited to that hit and the consequences weren't good....shit happens...and it cost both players dearly...

  • @13Xanadu How do you know he said to himself "oh, he's got his head down, i'm going to hit him in the head and clock him." ....no it's more like "i'm going to give a big hit here"

There is no doubt that he was not interested in the puck ; he wanted that big hit, but you can't say he wanted to hurt the guy. e didn't want to connect to the head like that...it just happens. it's a fast game. Am i saying he didn't deserve a suspension? No, he does but this is different then the cooke hit.

  • Things like this don't go unforgotten...just ask Colorado....

  • fuck calgary. garbage team that does nothing in the playoffs year in, year out. iginla is the only reason your sorry franchise is floating. kiprusoff is a trash goalie and your city is a joke. go wings, kostopolous will get whats coming to him

  • Kostopoulos is a fucking nobody and will never amount to anything. Stuart is actually a great player and asset. Fuck Kostopoulos. Worst hit I've seen all year. What a dick fuck.

  • I always try to be sportsmanlike but I can't on this hit. Fuck Kostopulos. What a mother fucker. Look at his follow through. Hands and stick up in the air. Intent to injure. Fucker should be out for as long as it takes Stuart to heal. What a pile of shit. I lost all respect for him as a player.

  • @almostboards117 yes, i see your point and i think they had to suspend but as he didn't have possesion of the puck at that time he did touch it seconds before.

This game is so quick he looked like he had his mind set on hitting him and i'm sure he wanted to make a big hit but at this level they rarely do it to injure...unless there is something in the past we don't know about.

  • flames players r just mad cuz they're shit

  • puckrogue, fighting majors dont win you games, and your buttbuddy "Kosto" would get rag-dolled by Ericsson. Similar to how Iginla got worked over by Jamie Benn

  • Definitely NOT...I repeat NOT...a "clean hit", what are you freaks smokin'? Stuart was completely defenseless. This is exactly the kind of hit that cannot be tolerated.

  • @dwilliams - I wouldn't want to be Kosto next time he goes to Detroit, either...because it's a shithole.

Kosto isn't a very good fighter, but he'd shitkick any 3 pussy Red Wings players.

This is lame. Clean hit. Keep your head up. Hockey has become so HOMOgenized, as has it's fans, judging by most of the comments here.

  • I wouldn't want to be Tom Kostopoulos next time Calgary makes a trip to Detroit.

  • @dwilliams2002 lol nothin gonna happen young boy

  • I wouldn't want to be Tom Kostopoulos next time Calgary makes a trip to Detroit.

  • I put a guy in the hospital with a similar hit in the WHL in the 90's and got a 2 minute charging penalty. The puck went into his skates in front of our net while he was battling with a defenceman and I hit him so hard his skate came up and cut the back of my head. He was out cold with broken ribs. Watch rock em sock em 1 through 9. This was not and should not be a penalty. Bitched like Crosby should shut up look up and play the fucking contact game!

  • @chinookRNG LOL what a stupid comment. If he was playing the puck with his skates he would be "in possesion", and if you broke his ribs I'm guessing you weren't targeting his head- neither of which is the case here. Thanks for the useless comparison.

  • People who say he raises his elbows: he clearly comes in on stuart who is lined up shorter than him, shoulder square towards his chest and finishes by following through. wake up and face reality, stuart is a tough guy and has laid jus as hard of hits, he can take this for sure in stride.

  • I wonder what's going through Bertuzzi's experienced mind.

  • the flames don't even think he should be suspended

  • If it wasnt intentional why did he look back after he hit him.suspend him as long as stuart is out for

  • @j948096 Would you not look back if you hit someone that hard?

  • That my friends is a charge, an elbow, and a dirty hit

  • Dirty. You cannot justify breaking someones jaw. Dirty.

  • DIrty hit, no question. He raises his elbows up as he hits him and clocks him in the grill.

  • Dirty. Charging. Toss him.

  • how is this any different than staals' hit on stajan, yes he should be suspended but then so should staal, seems to be a double standard in the league

  • "We strongly disagree, not only with the length of the suspension but also with the fact that tom was suspended. While we are sorry the player was injured, we maintained in the hearing the hit was a legal check. The player was batting at the puck and tom hit him in the chest and finished his check through him"

    - Jay Feaster, Acting Flames GM

  • @arbiter1 That was on Red wings Live tonight, If it was a hit to the chest then how does he explain Stuarts jaw getting broken i am no expert of the body but i don't believe your jaw is in your chest.

  • WHAT A USELESS SPORT. THE FACT THAT YOU NEED VIOLENCE JUST TO INCREASE RATINGS SHOW HOW DUMB THE SPORT IS.

  • @daveibukun so violence isn't needed? so lets just take the hard hits out of football and all you can do is push the guy or let him run. lets take the runner hitting the catcher out of baseball. or better yet, lets make the UFC just a slapping contest. People love hard hits and violence. They add excitement and show passion. Hits like this show passion but this was a senseless hit on a defenseless player. like the headshots taken during the NFL. You don't need to hit a guy in the head to play

  • @daveibukun you can burn in hell for all us hockey player/fans care... hockey rules...now go run and watch a bunch of moneys jumping around with there ass hanging out slam a ball into a metal circle

  • @daveibukun Wow, clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. First of all, hockey doesn't "need violence to increase ratings"... checking and aggressive behavior are both a part of the sport that goes back in time far beyond the time of network ratings... back before television. Furthermore, hockey is such a raw display of human talent and struggle that if doesn't "need" anything to get people to watch it... hockey stands alone. You know nothing about it, so quit pretending you do.

  • @daveibukun Have you ever played hockey? I'll bet you haven't... you seem like a pansy, so it's probably not for you. I am the daughter of a hockey coach, and let me tell you something about this "useless sport". Hockey turns boys into men. Hockey teaches respect, teamwork, sportsmanship and courage better than any other sport. Hockey players learn lessons in their first weeks on the ice it would take wimps like you an entire lifetime to learn. Useless sport? What a useless comment.

  • @AmandaMo2004 Well ratings wise it's a useless sport that no one watches. Lol 800k a night is a success, what a joke.

  • @JohnBrody23 lol I bet you watch soccer, you worthless piece of shit. you're useless.

  • @TifaStrife20 Lol you're an idiot. Try Football, a real sport.

  • @JohnBrody23 Maybe where you live no one watches Hockey, but up here, it's a way of life. I'm from the north, and we live, breathe and sleep hockey. And who gives a shit about ratings... only those of you who are completely driven by commercialism would judge a sport by ratings. The players don't play for ratings. They play for the love of the game. Really, I feel like your life is pretty empty if that's how you determine what is or is not important.

  • @AmandaMo2004 Lol was that your comeback then? My life is empty? They play for the ratings? You using that old ' they play for the love of the game not for money'. Hate to break it to you honey but EVERYONE plays for money. Only the naive think otherwise. You wanna watch hockey fine, sure I was being a dick when I wrote that lol, but it's all true anyway you look at it. There's a real sport being played this weekend though, you might wanna check it out. lol Hockey fans with your oversize jerseys

  • @daveibukun Explain to everyone here why you are watching this video then? I am guessing you won't comment back because you have no explanation.

  • He had is head down

  • 6 game suspension. seems about right.

  • @shotgunsteve100

...I don't see their wives on the bench...

  • Look at 1:50... clearly a shot to the head. good call suspending him he diserves it

  • Comment removed

  • That's clearly a shot to the head. I see how the ref might have missed it from the initial view but no doubt a missed 5 min major. What was his reasons for going for Stuarts head?

  • Psh, Kostopoulos is getting off easy. If he tries this shit on other teams he'd be dead on ice.

  • I'm a Flames fan and I don't like Brad Stuart as a player........but you've gotta agree with the league on this one. Just watching Kostopoulous' follow-through on the hit says it all. Man, that sucks. Btw, that sucks for Stuart, I would know. I've had my jaw broken in a hockey game before, about 2 years ago. Very painful injury, I'm surprised at Stuart's reaction at the end of the video. He HAD to be in a ton of pain.

  • 6 games for 'Roughing'. Sounds about right.

  • it's really hard to spell "kostopoulos."

  • dirty hit from a guy that should not even be in the league. he loses every fight. i think Tom Kostopoulos just ended his NHL career with this garbage.

  • not elbow defs hit to head

  • Bert better give this man what he deserves the next time they see Calgary

  • fuck i didn't know that cocksucker Bertuzzi was still on detroit...

  • First off, I'm a calgary fan.

But, I can't defend that at all. That was one of the dirtiest hits that I have seen in a long time, and fully agree with the suspension.

If anything, it may even be too short, that looked like intent to injure. I am horrified by this display by Kostopoulos, and do not want him on the team. That was uncalled for.

  • @AlyTheFlirtyRockstar I'm a wing's fan. and ya that was bullshit. he didn't even get thrown out talk about nhl needing new ref's that's just.... stupid.... at least howard shut it down in the shootout.... but wtf how many injuries are we about to take this year ffs

  • that dirty mother fu*cker... that was a cheap shot if i've ever seen one. Stuart was defenseless and he just went right for his head. there is no way Kostopoulus needed to make that hit

  • Ive been playing hockey for 40 years....this was a shot to the head...it wasnt an elbow it was his shoulder but he hit a guy in a vulnerable position..didnt have the puck he was playing a bouncing puck and went for the head..he wasnt trying to just make a hit this was an intent to injure...how anyone can say this was inches from being legal is ridiculous

  • @disneyfire Yeah it was inches from being legal, if he would have hit him shoulder to shoulder it wouldn't have been a problem. Maybe charging if it was shoulder to shoulder. Stuart was trying to play the puck.

  • 9.5 for the pirouette LOL

  • DEY BROKE EEZ JAWR!

  • cheap for sure, stuart was in a vunerable position!

  • cheap for sure

  • Thank goodness the Wings have depth.

  • Definitely cheap. He exploded his shoulder through Stuart's head. It would have been one thing if he hit him in the chest, but he went for his head.

  • He's been suspended for 6 games.

  • Kostopoulos is and always has been a bitch

  • Bottom line is that it is a blind side hit. This is part of the game that they want to take out. I am all about hitting and getting that perfect check on someone, but this was clearly dirty. A lot of guys will warn some when they are going to check them too. What pisses me off is that none of the wings did nothing and should have pounded this guy.

  • Comment removed

  • It was actually his shoulder but nonetheless TK is a dirty one. He has a few dirty plays on his record: hit on van ryn, sucker punched kimmo timonen. The guy is worthless; fights all the time and I have yet to see him land a punch. Imo, should be a 25 game suspension.

  • if he didnt target the head then why is his jaw broke. why dont you dumb flame fans drink some more of the red coolaid. realize your team sucks and your sinking faster than the titanic. if that was bourque or iggy gettin hit like that you morons would be screaming bloody murder. remove your homer glasses and look at the hit again.

  • dirty hit but you could never know if it was intentional or not unless you can read minds

  • How does anyone call this a clean hit, obviously this is not clean it was intentional he was aiming for Stuart's head and the puck was nowhere near him. The people who believe this is clean are blind.

  • I hate the Wings, but the suspension was deserved for sure, that hit is bullshit

  • Dirty hit, suspension deserved? Yes indeed.

  • I'm wondering if any of you have or play hockey but if theres blood on the ice and kostopoulos has hit people like that before its a dirty hit. Also Stuart never had the damn puck he was just whacking at it, so thats another reason to give him a suspension. Theres no way Stuart could have avoided it so I if I was the ref he would have got interference, charging and head checking plus the six games that was a brutal hit!

  • HE PUT HIS ELBOW UP!!!! Nothing illegal about my ass.....Watch him lift his elbow right before.........

  • who goes head hunting in the offensive zone when there's a loose puck? lol no wonder the flames suck.

  • Hate the Wings with a passion but I hate dirty hits even more.. I'm a Flames fan but this is just a stupid play by Tom K. Brad Stuarts a rock solid D man, hate to see good people get injured

  • 0:53 thanks idiot, we know where his fucking head is, you don't have to circle it.

  • that kinda guy wouldnt play in my team

  • anybody thinking it was a deliberate attempt to injure should probably retire from watching hockey . if it was head hunting the elbow would have been up. and not tucked into his side , i believe i have cleared up the puck possession thing that eliminates the interference call so the ref calls roughing . funny but i recall #21 hooking iginlajust prior ,5 crosschecking penalties stuart on iginlas back not called .oh and holmstrom dumping kiprusoff in his crease , i could go on about this game.

  • @kokanee2010a Too bad you're squad still lost cause it doesn't have the same character as the Red Wings. Cheap shot plain and simple. Don't see too many Wings doing anything close to that

  • Comment removed

  • @kokanee2010a HIS ELBOW WAS UP YOU FUCKING MORON!

  • Can't beat us so you get dirty.. wow classy.

  • @wicked419 One players actions does not reflect upon the entire team. TK is just an idiot

  • GO FLAMES GO

  • I knew it this guy is a dirty player

  • also stuart did make contact with the puck before getting hit. I been saying this for years but it seems that colin campbells ex teams get the benefit of the doubt ,also that tom ragdolled his useless son in a fight back in 2009. 6 games for a clean hit pussifying the nhl even more campbell is just jealous because the only way he could ever break someones jaw was by swinging his stick, seems the only people to disagree with that being a clean hit are the people that have never played hockey .

  • ice face you retard by definition he had possession of the puck ,he didn't even have to touch the puck to be in possession of it all he had to be is closest to the puck ,have you not noticed that they call down an offside when the defending team hasn't touched the puck because it is deemed possession same as delayed penal;ties when the offending team is already killing off a penalty and are just trying to kill of time to that penalty . the ref blows the play dead .

  • Wow those lines and circles the commentator drew really helped enhance the hit.....

  • Seriously that was not with intention to harm. At the speed the game is played things happen fast. Those of you that say Stuart didn't have possession of the puck is not a right call. It was a bouncing puck and Stuart fanned it leaving him in a vulnerable position to then get hit by Kostopoulos. It was a shoulder to shoulder hit with Stuart out of balance. Was no head shot, there was no concussion but a broken jaw. Being out of balance the hit slipped for shoulder to jaw. Was just bad luck.

  • @Calaveylon And it was necessary to keep thrusting upwards after? That was a big giveaway. He should have just followed straight through if he wanted to cover it up a bit. But when your upper body continues to go upward after the contact, it's a little hard to disguise that.

  • @WarriorHockey21

You seriously haven't played hockey in a competitive league were you can hit other players. More then half the hits in hockey the players put their shoulder into the hit by giving a swingin with the upper body to put more weight into the hit.

  • @Calaveylon.

Putting your shoulder into a hit is fine, if it doesn't hit the opponent's chin first.

Most players don't intend to harm, but when you get sloppy or try and reach for a hit that you aren't lined up for, these things happen. Kostopoulous wasn't squared up for the hit and lifted his arms to make contact.

That wasn't a clean hit. It doesn't matter whether he intended to hit his head, but when he did, it deserves the wrath of campbell.

  • It was not 2-3 seconds after. It was a very clean it. So to those of you saying its such a bad hit, go watch european hockey. Then you can have whatever you want.

  • @A360freak - damn your a hard ass. fuck you bitch

  • @A360freak He blindsided him, went straight shoulder to head, and then thrusted upwards to finish it off. How can you honestly sit there and say it was not only a clean hit, but a "very clean hit"?

Yea, I play hockey, and have been for over 12 years. And I know enough that that was not an attempted shoulder-shoulder.

    I'm NOT a Det fan.

BTW, don't even mention European hockey in the presence of NHL fans. That's an insult to hockey players everywhere. Nobody watches that sissy garbage.

  • @WarriorHockey21

He did not blind side him Stuart was lookin down at the puck and Kostopoulos hit him from the front. Don't know what kind of hockey you been playing but sure wasn't in a competitive league.

  • @WarriorHockey21 Dude, I may be a flames fan. But he was vunerable. Ive been watching hockey for literally my whole life. He happened to catch him wrong I think. I was actually at this game, sitting behind detriots bench. Coach wasnt as pissed at it as it might seem, he was asking if it was intentional.

If no body watched it (i dont, im with you, its sissy garbage) it wouldnt still be around, and actually be such a vital side of major league hockey

  • completely legal

  • Legal. Stuart was in the play with the puck.... sad he got the shoulder on the jaw.

  • Ok, call it a hit to the head, don't call it a hit to the head... You know what worries me the most about all of this BS? The day when the league starts to penalize hard legit hits -- and from what I see, it's becoming that slowly but surely -- and that fucking aggravates me to no end... If I wanted to see a bunch of pansies playing where fights are settled by stick swinging incidents then I'd move somewhere in Europe... So, be very careful what you wish for on either side of the debate...

  • You people saying that was a clean hit have obviously never played hockey or received a hit on ice... If it's a clean shoulder to shoulder hit like that, it will put you on your ass every time, not send you airborne and doing a completely 360 before hitting the ice.. It was clearly a targeted hit to the face by a player who's known for dirty, underhanded moves like that. moreover, this clown got off easy seeing as the league GMs met just last year to get these hits out of the game

  • @thegreatflambino a clean hit to the side will send people into the air doing a 360 if its shoulder to shoulder, take a lap

  • back in the day this never woulda happened because we had mccarty and other bruisers just to destroy anyone who tried stuff like this........

  • i hate dirty players

  • I hope they also suspend the ref that only gave him a rough.

  • hahah bertuzzi does it to the ref

u want to try it .........here

  • They gotta get rid of the instigator, these kind of hits wont happen if they let them police themselves, players dont learn from a suspension and the majority of them are slaps on the wrist. They got rid of the enforcer role and because of that we now have dirty hockey with minimal consequence. If you made this hit with no instigator and the other team had a McSorely or a domi or a probert etc then that guy would wouldnt make it out alive. Hell think twice. REAL CONSEQUENCES

  • Wow, what a douche. I remember the time he effectively ended Mike Van Ryn's career but I don't remember the second offense. Either way, can players like this just get the hell out already? I'm all for rough hockey and hard hits and fights and whatever else, but there's a difference between being rough and being a goon.

  • fuck u brad stuart

  • @4everluvjc yea i bet he was faking the broken jaw...fuck you prick

  • @4everluvjc your an ass hole

  • @4everluvjc A canadian nazi troll? That's just sad.

  • It was shoulder under the chin and Kostopolous skates never leave the ice. Also it is not a hit from behind therefore it could not be called bordering. It is a perfectly clean hit. He shouldn't have even got a roughing penalty.
