  • I have to admit, usually I think that Wado Karate looks pretty awful compared to the other traditional styles. This however, was a great kata and enjoyable to watch.

  • i do kraty and im orange blet

  • nice karter

  • Yeah, don't fuck with me.

  • the word Ryo in japanese is included int the english translation Ryoshin parent or the word together ryo ho linguistics as with sound and toucing and remembering are as important ingredients of every kata

  • my name is andrew hibberd from wally in australia and this is as perfect as it gets , it does not get better i trust a master of the greatness of Mclean walks in my path again , o sensei arigatou gozaimahita hoto ni , okinawa kara mae wakanai

  • exellent footwork

  • Very cool...is almost identical to the Shotokan Empi kata.

  • nice work! thumbed up!

  • Wooow!! algun dia llegare ha ser como el jejeje...

  • in my opinion the shotokan empi is a lot nicer, but nice kata

  • EMPI......SHOTOKAN

  • all you need to do is a haduken and you'll win them all

  • excellent

  • rofl just another enpi. shotokan enpi or wanshu looks much better in my opinion.

  • @kirtorn Remember Shotokan version was like this originally!

  • si eu fac mai bine kata.

  • @vioarica probabil faci kata cu o viteza mai mare...poate chiar si mai in forta...dar pozitiilenu ai cum sa le faci mai bine pt ca sunt aproape perfecte...

  • Excellent performance! This is a good example doing of wado kata as it should be done. its relaxed, well-timed, stances are solid but not too long to make it rigid, turnings are sharp, punches fast and body alignment /center control is under strict control. Very nice !!!

  • Did Oliver Brunton judge this one as well? Does anyone remember his daughter (or was it son) doing kata in various competitions the 90's and Oliver being the head judge? Oddly he/she always won and yet was usless. Whilst I think this wanshu was good, it's a shame it was judged by Brunton; it loses it's credibility as a winner.

  • @welshiewonder hi there was just say i think oliver is a great judge and his son james is one of the best at wado, i my self train with james and oliver and there both really great. here in northen Ireland is where wado really kicked off as we have the best fighters from n.i i think it would be unfair to say james won the kata competition just because he's olivers son......

  • Different moves from how I am taught--but performed outstandingly. This is a "living kata" with meaning--90% of what I see is "dead kata".

  • he could bring his knees in more so he can look like hes jumping higher, bigger jump = better results

  • great kata

  • Excellent Wanshu. I really watching enjoyed this.
