  • Ernie was my father. He died from ALS on Jan 19, 2010. The DSD did help him breathe on his own for a good while. After his death, his vital organs were donated to Mayo Clinic for research. Ernie was a high school history teacher for 30 years. Even in death, he is still teaching. Love you, Dad.

  • This is good technology. I know there is no known cause, no treatment and no cure for ALS. But I hope to God this DSD (Electronic Stimulation Device) helps improve the quality of live for all patients of ALS disease.
