hey pal, why don't you report this to the UN or any international organizations or government who might care and ask for foreign military intervention to get rid of Ma and his gangsterish KMT entirely? huh?
@davidcandlelight you only got 5 thumbs down, that's not a lot. If the KMT lost the election i bet it would be the same. Because you're basically whining now about how much you think it is unfair. when it's not. If the DDP knew that it was going to be tough election they should have worked harder to spread their message. It's like college if you know that you have a tough professor, what do you do? you work harder, right. You don't whine about how you have the toughest professor in the school.
@davidcandlelight Let's talk ethics too about the DDP, because it was the DDP is possibly the most corrupt party in the world. A former chairman of the party told Tsai to admit that she was gay, so that she could have a same sex partner, because according to Taiwan "law" the government cannot monitor the same sex partner from taking bribes.
@davidcandlelight Also just because you are rich doesn't mean that you are automatically a member of the KMT. I know Taxi drivers and waiters and waitresses that supported the KMT because of it's message. Besides there are a lot of rich people that support the DDP. Why??? because they are the only party that takes bribes. And who has money to give them bribes..........Drumroll please......the RICH PEOPLE.
Taiwan TV already reported a whole island that couldn't go to vote.
7000 People.
Plus vote buying etc.
I can't prove that the green party was supposed to win. It's not my intention either. But I can and already have proven that this election was held in an unfair manner.
If the 2008 election is a legitimate prove for you that the KMT is the winner of the 2012 election, then, why having an election at all?
Taiwan presidential Election 2000 date March 18th 2000.
Taiwan presidential Election 2004 date March 20th 2004
Taiwan presidential Election 2012 date January 14th 2012 a week before Chinese new year.
I think I made my point with this video already. So it's your turn to prove otherwise.
The DPP complained about this date already before the election. Fair is when everyone gets a chance to vote and when all parties can agree on the conditions in which the election done.
Idiotic. Taiwanese travelled from all over the world to vote, and you're complaining people studying exams would have to waste max 15 minutes to vote? LOL get real.
@davidcandlelight A mix of both last I heard. And yes I do find it amazing that they couldn't set a voting date that pleased every single person in Taiwan LOL.
That worker was on the lower end of this and could not make the decision to take a day off. This decision was made by his employer. Guess which part of society is more likely to vote for Ma Yinjeo? The people in the south are more likely to vote the green party.
@davidcandlelight 1) 'people of the south are more likely to vote for the green party' - is that a fact or an opinion? 2) you mention costs and bosses not letting employees vote. Again, if they FELT very STRONGLY about a need for a change in leadership, do you think anything would stop them from voting? I thought Taiwan was mostly rich, surely 500NT$ is not too much to shell out.
Excuses, excuses. How long does it take to place a vote? Also if Taiwanese people truely care about the leadership of their country, there should be nothing deterring them from voting.
The worker said that he was from south Taiwan and did not have a day off to go down there.
To answer your question, it would take him 4 hours to get down there and 4 hours to come back to work. It would also cost him about 500NT$ travel fees.

I have a question, if the KMT lost today would you make this video or post this video?
akt5131 1 month ago
@akt5131
That's a good question!
I was editing this video before the first results were on TV, and uploading it around the time the first results were out.
Therefore, the outcome of the election did not matter at all to what I was doing.

@davidcandlelight okay

@davidcandlelight however with the high voter turnout, it does make the point this video is trying to make look like horseshit doesn't it? =)

@akt5131 Sorry for adding this a little late.
Counter-question,
If the KMT hat lost the election would this video receive so many thumbs down?

Rich Taiwanese travel from all over the world to vote!
Are these the pro or contra green party people?
15 minutes from where your household is registered and this for at least, not sure, 4 or 6 month.
Many students who have to prepare for tests had to travel several hours to their voting both.
P.S. I hate it when motherfuckers using words like idiotic on me!

btw, even if people are busy and don't have time to vote, doesn't that affect all the candidates, rather than just one?

2) 500NT$ plus the lost of salary. And the fear of losing the job?
The richer the bluer.
But that's only my opinion I can't prove.
