  • Sounds like the rings are getting worn. Saw will need disassembled and rings measured in cylinder.

  • I have an old Mcculloch Mac 120. I think the engine is a little tired. It runs great and has a nice low idle but it does not feel like it has much compression. It still has good power when cutting through logs. I looked in the exhaust port and saw no signs of scoring. My father used the saw for about 10+ years cutting up wood for the winter so I know its got allot of hours on it. Its been sitting for about 9 years and I just got it going again. How hard should it be to turn it over?

  • The Pro 260 is the one I like the best. Goood power, and light weight.

  • @radougan120955 hi could you make a vid on all the saws that you own

  • I have been considering buying the new ms 311, vs the ms 280, and the ms pro 260, what would probably be the right choice, in your experience..? thanks

  • will that saw handle a 24 inch bar good ? thank you

  • @1972porkchop i believe he said it WAS a 24" on it, so apparently, yes! haha

  • how did u start it so quick.was it hot and what switch position u on

  • @ab565188 It was hot and he had it choke open/off. That saw takes 2-3 pulls cold. I run one every day, I love mine with a 20 inch bar.
