I heard a ball bearing will suffice to block but this heat thing is concerning me. You exhaust get hotter & how'd you bypass the EGR temp sensor?

late post but if on were to have this still enabled [ I replaced my Exhaust mani with stock used and left it active ] and the diaphragm on EGR is NOT moving with increased revs; now I have an extremely hot exhaust system that smells like the pipe is melting. I 'custom' made the connector to old egr tube and replacemnt since both connex for tube ends were heat fused; even PB oil wouldnt unfreeze to block off.

nope just capped off that one exhaust line.
