"Rose Red" is a good flick, like his other ghost story "The Shining" Stephen King produced a gem. I was in the 8th grade when I saw this on abc. They showed like an hour a night of the movie for a week. I was scared out my mind, the news made it seem like it was based on actual events, the propaganda for this movie was superb. This was the first movie I saw that actually scared me in a while. I haven't seen a scary movie like this since the days of Freddy and Jason. Interesting story!
The house is real, but the story is made up. I've researched it, believe me! I was so into the story I had to know the truth if it was real or not. If the story was true, it wasn't based on this house. What had me in doubts was the ending to this movie when the rocks fell out the sky. Anyways it's not based on this house.
i love this movie. not overly terrifing it has its scare factor though.... I wathced it home alone in a thunder storm so it became that much more frightening in that situation.... anyways AMAZING MOVIE.
this movie isn't all that scary.. a few parts are creepy and will make jump, but it's no big deal and part is kind of blood that includes the nerd... But do watch it @ night to get that scary feel.

I watched that movie a while back when I was really young...I think about 5th grade. I was scared crapless for about a month lol.

I was in the 8th grade when I saw this on abc. They showed like an hour a night of the movie for a week. I was scared out my mind, the news made it seem like it was based on actual events, the propaganda for this movie was superb. This was the first movie I saw that actually scared me in a while. I haven't seen a scary movie like this since the days of Freddy and Jason. Interesting story!

The house is real, but the story is made up. I've researched it, believe me! I was so into the story I had to know the truth if it was real or not. If the story was true, it wasn't based on this house. What had me in doubts was the ending to this movie when the rocks fell out the sky. Anyways it's not based on this house.

Rose Red isn't scary at all it might creep you out a little and if you watch it when your sleepy it will keep you awake.
it's pritty interesting and my fav person in it is Anne shes pritty and shes good at her part

i love this movie. not overly terrifing it has its scare factor though.... I wathced it home alone in a thunder storm so it became that much more frightening in that situation.... anyways AMAZING MOVIE.

this movie isn't all that scary.. a few parts are creepy and will make jump, but it's no big deal and part is kind of blood that includes the nerd... But do watch it @ night to get that scary feel.

...it is my favorite stephen king movie by far i loved it! its not that scary it might creep you out. its worth watching! stephen king is a great wrighter

Stephen king is a a good writer and producer, but i gotta say...what kind of crack was he smoking when he decided to make It into a movie...seriously. But as far as this movie goes...just the fact that this girl created a whole bunch of rocks that pound the house across the sreet was enough for me to not watch it for a while...

those girls are kinda hot. XD and that song makes me dance, but i hate horror movies. i think it will still creep me out, or i don't know. when it's zombies i'm like; dude =.=... XD
but but, the diary of helen rimbauer really creeps me out, i guess. That has something to do with this film right?
