  • The Commandant should hear about how the recuriting system can fuck the Corps in the long run.

  • If people join the Marines for the money, then your in the wrong fucken branch.

  • This very young Sgt seems to think he has it all figured out. He keeps saying "I got mine" or "I got lucky but others got screwed" It saddens me to see out young Marines so arrogant and disloyal. In the old corps I would've kicked his ass his plt sgt's ass and chew the shit out of his platoon commander. This viseo is a friggn shame

  • This guy is speaking TRUTH!! I know someone who joined the National Guard for the 20,000 enlistment bonus but only got 5,000... My cousin joined the Navy. The recruiter told him to put No for all health questions at MEPS so when he got to boot camp they kicked him out because they said why didn't you say you had anxiety... -.- Another friend joined they Air force they did the same to him... So its all branches...

  • @codyc228 My friend faces the same problem. He wants to join but he had past issues of anxiety. How did the Navy find out that your cousin had anxiety? Or did he just tell them.

  • @cyclodiene I'm not exactly clear on how they found out..Maybe he was just nervous and they used it as an excuse to kick him out.. He didn't go into details but he was there for like a week or 2.. Just make sure to anyone that is joining that you know of. Just remember. When you go to the recruiter. Tell the truth on things they can prove and lie about things they can not prove. Like Arrests and Hospital documents they can and will find out about so be truthful.

  • @cyclodiene Recruiters like the one me and my cousin had the recruiter told us to put "NO" for all health questions..Well we didn't know at the time .. So my cousin went to boot camp and they got onto him for lying and discharged him.. Another friend had the same thing happen when he went to the Air force.. So its just best to watch for shady things like that.. So after that happened I changed my mind about the Navy and checked out the Marines. Now I'm goin to take a look at the Army. Undecided

  • @codyc228 I see what you're saying. But my friend went to the doctor for anxiety, so that is on his medical records. Are you saying that the Marine Corp will definitely find out and kick him out? Or he should just lie about it at MEPS and any other scenario in which they could find out.

  • @cyclodiene Well I mean if he has to take medication for it then yes its best to be truthful about it... He should talk to the recruiter about it though maybe his recruiter is cool.

  • Do you get a bonus for signing your first time going in? Or do you only get a bonus for re-enlisting?

  • Comment removed

  • i love my recruiter. He says "no promises on anything" and he won't give you any paper work to sign unless you are 100% sure that this is what you want. And if you can't give a good reason why you want to join the marine corps, then he'll tell you to leave.

  • yeah my recruiter hasn't promised me shit and i trust him because iv talked to the people he has put in and they all tell me he never promised me anything that wasn't garenteed and i am extremely proud of the fact that my recruiter isn't a lieing scum bag

  • Fuck recruiters! Fucking scumbags!

  • @TheCarterSauce what you just said isn't true.

  • The military is same shit different uniform i stopped all of my freinds save for 1 that joined when i was in korea from joining the military.

  • well, I didn't sign up for the money, I signed up for the cause of it, so you may not get your way, no reason to complain about it, you may not get the job you want, but you're a Marine before you're a Recon guy, Infantry, Aviation Electronics, or anything like that, don't complain, many people would love to be Marines, they would greatfuly be a cook or dish washer, but a lot of people can't be a Marine. Quit complaining, be proud, you signed up for it, and you got what was on the contract.

  • I do my part by convincing young kids to join the Air-force instead of this backwards bull-shit of a branch

  • They can't people to join without lying. They know, the American people know it, all the enlisted know it. That's why everyone will tell you the same thing... recruiters are full of shit. Their job translates into Salesman. They're selling snake oil too. Their might be a few honest ones here and there, but we all know about quotas. Even when the general's go to congressional hearings they talk about 'recruiting goals'...ie quotas. They'll lie to your face and laugh at your ass behind your back.

  • I signed up knowing I wouldn't get a bonus. All that matters is my recruiters got me the MOS I wanted. I did a year of Marine Corps ROTC so I got to know more about the Marines and what not. But honestly. We have the internet now. Do your research so you have that knowledge when you go in and talk to your recruiter.

  • Would I be a guaranteed spot in infantry?

  • @hanseykemmerer Nope, even grunt is not a 100% guarentee.

  • @TheCarterSauce Nah dude. When i was a freshman in highschool they flat out said specific jobs get bonuses. Later when i went to their office and listened to their bullshit, they told me if I entered the DEP as a missle tech it's a 200,000 bonus after school completion. (school has 90% drop out rate-year long school back then). I mean i talked to 20 different recruiters with all branches before I ever enlisted. I attended rotc and recruiting functions for years and years. They lie like mad.

  • as far as bonuses go,the MOS im trying to get does'nt have a bonus, and im not a Marine just a poolee, but as far as i know from recruiters, Marines,& USMC manuals, your bonus depends on you bringing it up at MEPS & getting it in your contract.THEN even though it is in your contract you must complete your MOS school and pass any necessary tests to actually receive your money upon arrival at your first duty station.I definitely agree with the part about disgruntled vets though, told me not to join.

  • i didnt get my 8000 bonus. fuckin shit ass recruiter

  • Some advice given to me by a friend who was SF in the USCG, "It's not what you want, its what the military wants, and they are going to fuck you until the day you leave" If you go into the military understanding its not up to you, it helps alot and so far every recruiter ive told that suddenly lossens up and shoots straight with me, no tip toeing, no careful words. im enlisting in April into the USMC.

  • im enlisting and so far my recruiter has told me how miserable he was on a day to day basis, freezing his ass off in the rain with 2 hours of sleep a night, and he told me i probablly wouldnt get a bonus, along with not promising me the job i want.

i cant fucking wait to join 03xx

  • @nickm16a2 The 03 Occupational Specialty is Infantry, 0311 is rifleman is just one of like 15 MOSs in that specialty.

  • Agreed brother I got fucked over on my pay twice

  • If you are in it for the money. You don't belong in the Marine Corps. PERIOD. "We never promised you a rose garden."

  • @GomerBucks You are old school if you remember that Marine Corps recruiting theme.

But it worked quite well. Three weeks after i heard it I joined the army.

  • @GomerBucks I agree. I've never been in the military, but I believe that no matter what you do, whether military or civilian occupation, you should do it for the job, and what all is involved, not for the money. Otherwise you stand a chance of screwing up not just yourself, but everyone who's involved with your job and everyone who depends on you.

  • @nickm16a2 O ok my recruiter said yeah I could be a 0311 but lieing of course. He saids alot of bs though.

  • I'm going to be 0311 is there anyway they will screw me over?

  • I could care less about money or bonuses. I just want to enlist in the military and be a Marine.

  • My recruiter is awesome and tells me all the shit i wanna know, even if its a high chance of getting me to say no to joining

  • ok... it's not that recruiters fuck you.. you fuck yourself.. you have to be smart enough to know that nothing is set in stone when you join. and that they will put you somewhere else if they need you there. if you were to dumb to understand that.. YOU fucked yourself.

  • i agree if i ever meet my recruter again im gonna choke that mother fucker

  • ..11 people were the cooks who got fucked

  • @TheCarterSauce Dude, when I was 17, I looked up to my recruiter like he was a god. Then when I failed to get my $3000, I ceased to feel that way.

  • @jcooper1000

You're what's wrong with the Marine Corps.

I've yet to have a leader like you that actually accomplished things.

  • @jcooper1000 They goes all the way up to general officers and bird colonels, these are just the only videos I posted. Everyone is this guy's command, including his first sergeant, went in front of the microphone for an hour.

  • @jcooper1000 i picked the tanker job so that mean i could be used as a cook or somthing is that true ?

  • @jcooper1000 boot

  • It says like "bobben" or "Boden" something like that...

  • I dont think its the Corps as a whole, ive met both good and shitty recruiters, mine were cool as fuck, they didnt promise shit, they straight told me you may or may not get a bonus, and if you want a job for sure go reserve or raise your hand for 0321 at MCT. Thats also the fastest way out of reserve duty if you decided you love being a Marine.

  • @Robbob9933 *sigh* tough guys.

  • @Robbob9933 It's amazing how people who have never been anywhere or done anything are always somehow experts....

  • @halfunderthetable Having served eight years active in the Corps, I can call myself an expert on how the Corps operates. The recruiters today are no different that those when I enlisted. They never actually make promisses. They uses qualifiers such as; may, can, might, possibly, up to (zero is included here), etc... . It is the contract, not the spoken word, that provides any guarantees but they always have a clause that provides for the good of the service.

  • @Robbob9933 Boot camp doesn't filter out the idiots anymore. Nowadays you get promoted for being a brain dead pt stud instead of truely knowing your mos. Retarded fucking NCO's would rather write up paper work on you instead of taking you back woods and settling it like men. Because in the Marine Corps we're all "men", until you disagree; then you're just rank.

  • @MindOfTheThief In my day of the post-Vietnam rebuilding, the promotion recommendation form skills were first in the calculation PFT last The old MOS Manuals used to have skill breakdowns by rank and proficiency scores were weighted for having skill proficiency of of the next higher ranks. A Corporal with no proficiencies of Sergeant and above had no ability to get higher than a 3.50 out of 5. A 3.5 was 100% proficiant at current rank. My lowest in 8 years was 4.75.

  • @Robbob9933 I sure wish I'd had been a Marine during those times. Dont' get me wrong I do also believe you should be physically fit to get promoted. But if you don't know the Marine Corps sure has changed a lot, and Obama wants to take all of our benefits.

  • @MindOfTheThief Flunking a PFT, Annual Common Skills, or Rifle Qualification resulted in automatic non-recommendation. Two in an enlistment meant no reenlistment. Administrative rank reductions were very common, administrative reinstatements happened but not quite as often.

  • @MindOfTheThief I never had to write anyone up or thump them. Never had to pull rank either. Being known for knowing my stuff made the job easy. Not to say that creative extra duty wan't used and always accepted as an alternative to a write up.

  • @Robbob9933 I disagree. There are recruiters that completely dishonor their branch of service and the people of this country through deception. How many billions are spent on advertising? The only straight shooters you will find in a recruiting office are the ones that aren't afraid too leave it and get back to the fleet. Lotta pog's out there soaking up pay, just looking for retirement benefits. In fact you can do a search and youtube and spot a hell of a lot more than one of them.

  • @usmcdisabledvet The last era when recruiters lied was back in the late 1970s and early 1980s when there was massive recruiting fraud. Recruiters are salesmen/women and their job is to sell you on the service they do not lie. But for people that go through the current educational system and do not understand language construction, the truth may appear a lie. A recruiter will say, "If you enlist in XXXX field for Y years, you may be elligible for a bonus up to $20K. (cont)

  • @usmcdisabledvet (cont) If you enlist in that field for 4 years and get a 1K bonus. There was no lie. I enlisted in the middle of the Iran Hostage crisis in Data Systems but knew full well that I most likely would be a grunt fighting in Iran. Call me pog if you will but I was fully qualified on more weapon systems at section leader level (when there was a position) then most grunts. 60 and 81 mm mortar, dragon, TOW, MK19, M2, M60mg, LAAW, AT4, SMAW.

  • @Robbob9933 Recruiters are full of shit. We all know it. They know it, even the people they recruit know it. They abolished the draft, although an act of congress can change that. Military deferment in lieu of prison sentencing is no longer openly practiced, although if a recruiter thinks he can pressure you in with some intimidation ...we all know they will too... it will be mentioned. The language "if you enlist in xxxx field for Y years, you may be eligible" FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! LIES!!!!!

  • @usmcdisabledvet The use of words like "may" is not false advertising. To people never taught proper use and construction of language may not understand what sentences using them really say. The Corps has by and large been almost 100% volunteer. Even in WWII, the number for draftees was to far less that 1%.

  • This guy is so mis-informed it's pathetic. There are no facts to anything he's saying other than his own personal experience. A good deal of Marines will say that their recruiter screwed them but it's all smoke and mirrors. Truth is they are so hung ho to join that they fail to look at what they are signing up for.

  • @Darius8999 Well, then I think part of the recruiters job should be to to educate the young recruits on what is really going to happen, especially if they are perceived as a trusted authority.

  • @greenmonsterfilm They do their best but how much of what a recruiter says will be digested by most of today's 17-18 year olds? As posted by some here the Marine "poolee" needs to read what he is in front of him before he signs it and asks questions if something doesnt make sense. Another thing if a recruiter lies he can be charged and that Marine will be discharged due to fraudulent enlistment. I doubt a Marine who has invested in making the Corps a career will risk it on some snotty nosed kid

  • Actually you can see his rank dumbass. He makes a damn good point, this shit happens all the time and there is no reason for it to.

  • supposed to be an nco or sgt of marines? quit bitching on youtube, your probably a pog anyway.

  • this guy is supposed to be an NCO and leader of marines? quit bitching, your probably a pog anyway.

  • @Johnfkonopka Nope. Not a pog.

  • The recruiters i've met have been mostly helpful and honest. however i have yet to talk to a recruiter in any service that will admit that joining (insert branch here) can be dangerous.

  • Bottom line is this: Whatever you are promised by your recruiter MUST be spelled out in your enlistment contract. If your recruiter says you're going to have a certain job after boot camp, make sure that job AND the required schooling is written in your contract! If it's not in your contract, the recruiter's words mean nothing. Don't sign your contract until everything YOU want is written in there. That is the only guarantee.

  • @baezallendro well moron your surgery would be covered if you went thru the right channels to get it done. every institution has problems but if your so blind to sign a contract with out researching everything about it your a jackass. go sit in a barracks room with your faggot roomate and talk more shit about how your life has been so fucked from the marine corps!!!! not a motard just someone with some common sense.....its not for everyone and its not always perfect i get it....

  • what i was told by a veteran who came to my school, "if it isn't in writing, it doesent exist" and what he ment is, if your promised somthing, make sure it's in your contract, cause if it's not there, you wont get it.

  • @videosurfer117 correct.

  • HELL YEAH MAN!! YOU TELL EM BROTHER.. THEY FICKED ME UP TOO AND IM NOT A COOK IM A DISH WASHER!!

  • I LOVE HOW HE SO STRAIGHT UP...ITS SO TRUE WHAT HE SAYS

  • I would LOVE to be a cook in the Marine Corps!

  • The U.S. Government uses military men as pawns for their scheme of world domination. They did 9/11, created the AIDS virus, and many other atrocities in the world. Fuck the government, fuck the US.

  • @xXSgtWolfXx lmao put down your weed

  • @realmofexcursion Nah man, this is some good shit I'm smoking. Fuck yeah.

  • @xXSgtWolfXx Shut your mouth or ill fuck it

  • @xUSxARMYxHOOAHx trolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol

  • @xUSxARMYxHOOAHx LMFAO

  • @xXSgtWolfXx did you just say they created the A.I.D.S virus please tell me your not that retarted.the aids virus spread to humans from some africans in the jungle fucking monkeys you stupid fuck.i wish i was in control of the u.s military so i could blow your country to shit.

  • By order of Congress, it's a FAG MILITARY now. In the future, when the recruiter screws you, it may be more literal than you first realize. So look out ... nobody is going to take protect your behind but you.

  • This is why military service should be required for citizenship. The all volunteer military was a terrible decision.

  • @captwasabi I have to disagree, immigrants from countries within NATO deserve to join the US Military if they live in America. My country is out there right now fighting mostly for you,so some people deserve to join the USMC. And you just need to know how to play the recruiting game, and you'll get the job you want.

  • @USMCjunior117 Yeah but the problem with the volunteer military is that now no one gives a shit about them. Politicians are more than willing to fuck over our veterans and going to war means nothing when it's a volunteer army. I honestly feel that if military service were a requirement for citizenship then people would pay more attention. BTW, I also apply this to those who were born here just as Israel does. You have to serve to maintain your citizenship past 17.

  • True story : i met a WM (Woman Marine) in 1980 who came in "open contract", who scored extremely high on her ASVAB, the Corps made her a Cook, I tried every way i could think of to get her out of that MOS, I know for a fact she had some education in Techincal School in "Office Clerical" but to no avail, she got screwed, Lesile was a beautiful WM who had so much to offer the Corps, i transferred out of Cherry Point 2 months later, God I hoped she did ok

  • if he ended up being a cook, he most likely didn't score that high on the asvab. people who don't score higher than 50 on their afqt usually come in open contract and go admin, supply, cook (up until early 2000's), motor t etc.... unless they specifically ask to go combat arms. no recruiter is going to give an open contract to a recruit that scores over a 50 on the afqt.

  • excellant video

  • intresting point of view

  • im a Marine Recruiter! This Marine clearly has forgotton some of the CORE Values and has chosen to go against my organization. Just like i tell applicants, you can step up or step off!

  • @cry985 Shut up. Jesus christ, just try and learn from this guy's experience and do the best you can. You cannot burn all the heretics.

  • OMG HE SAID BULLSHIT CALL THE POLICE... people get over it , i say let them fight they way they want so I don't have to buy a gun and defend myself ...

  • lol why say Sgt.X? his name is on his uniform....:P

  • @thakidace It is about search results.

  • @thakidace Google search results, not really the video. He just asked me to do it.

  • my recruiter was always a dickhead hahaha. I told him i wasnt lokkin for a job to kill

he said i was lookin for a pussy job. >_>

So i enlisted and went armor division. Fuckin right.

  • Comment removed

  • No, they'll just bring back the draft.

  • @Ghosthead32 one problem you will force people who do NOT want to fight causing morale issues ...

  • @redfox669 from wut i understand its u have to wait up to 6 months to ship to bootcamp they cant ship u right after meps they do that for a reason

  • i hope you get sucked into recruiting!! and you shouldnt have to be bribed to join the marines, if u want a bribe join the army! thats what my marine recruiter tells kids!!

  • Look I was a Recruiter for 3 yrs and I would tell you straight up....do you want to be a Marine?.... Well if you want to be part of the Elite then join, if not then go to the Army if you want a bonus cause we don't buy people.

  • The one thing I heard was to always get everything they "promise" you in writing.

  • FUCK THE RECRUITER IM JOINING TO BE THE "FIRST" TO DEFEND MY COUNTRY OORAH!!

"Marines Die, Thats what were here for, But the Marine Corps lives on forever, and that means YOU live on forever" OORAH!!! SEMPER FIDELIS

  • @Murcielago247 BY THE WAY WE ARE'NT FIGHTING FOR OUR CONTRY IN THE MIDDEL EAST WERE FIGHTING FOR NATURAL RESOURCE CONTROL.

  • @luiskilla91592 you're a faggot. go die in a hole, lol, because no one who watches this video gives a shit

  • @facas555 i watched this video, and igive a shit,i like to know the truth about what iam risking my life for.

  • @Murcielago247 oorah! to that baby !!

  • @Murcielago247 boot

  • @Murcielago247 Shut up, your moto is making me throw up in my mouth.

  • Heyyy! whats wrong with being a cook?.... i make good food :/

  • @HandsomeDiego haha being a cook in the military (well in the navy atleast, cant speak for the other services) is a lot different if you are cooking for 5,000 people on a carrier. The environment is scorching hot and really quite stressful and can be really dirty work. Being a cook wasn't my job in the navy but everyone has to go cook and clean dishes for a minimum of 3 months in the navy. Everyone has to do it except the nukes.

  • @HandsomeDiego They have arguably the longest days of anyone except the engineers (we are talking 16-20 hours) daily. I hated that shit when i had to do it for 3 months.

  • @RepublicanNatio Really? I would of never thought cooks had it that bad?

  • @HandsomeDiego its all true my man.

  • WEAK excuse for a man. You should've went to college and worked fast food for 6 years instead of wasting good Government dollars on your training; Training that you WILL. NO DOUBT, place on any resume or application you'll ever fill out.

  • please post more vids

  • i have a strange feeling that i know exactly who hes talking about.... haha wow this is fucked

  • ROFL

  • what are the benefits in joining? because one reason im joining is that i hope the marine corps will help me support my family and siblings

  • @VredesStal lol so you're saying everyone should join the reserves? the reserves is a waste of time. either you're a marine/soldier or you're not. the reserves imo should only be for people who have already served active duty.

  • @rickyrich301 I very much agree that you should have already served on active duty at the minimum of 4 years to go reserves. I just finished my 4 years of AD with the navy with 2 deployments to the persian gulf and arabian sea on a carrier (uss enterprise) , my brother in-law just finished 4 years AD in the army with 2 combat tours in iraq and he is now going to join the active reserves. I am now on the inactive reserves for 4 years.

  • @VredesStal reserves SUCKS dumb ass

  • @MrTheanticops4 you must be a wanna be haji

  • All this coming from a fool who has NEVER been a recruiter.

You are a FOOL! Anyone who blames a recruiter for their INability to read or understand a contract is a FOOL. Grow up freak. YOU are hurting the Corps and country with CRAP like this... GET OUT OF THE CORPS E-5...Yes E-5... NOT Sergeant!

  • whats wrong with cooks? Im a cook and so far its a pretty good MOS

  • HELLO BOOT!!!!! pull your head out of your ass and pick up a gun!

  • Cry me a river dude. You a a freaking Marine...Act like one. You should have joined the Army where WE GURANTEE your JOB and MONEY in your contract...

  • @AirborneGI82 You are a freaking Marine is what should be there. Damn youtube...make it look like I cannot spell

  • @AirborneGI82 Hooahh!!!!.... lol

  • It's not just the Marine recruiters. Navy, Air Force, they all do that.

  • if they didnt get what they watned they didnt read their contact. they signed their original DEP contract that had everything they wanted but when you arrive back at MEPS for your transition to active duty and your final swear in before BOOT... the second actual active duty enlistment contract is the one that counts. its your job to read everything you sign. if both contracts arent identical you do not have to sign the active duty enlistment contract.

  • tell your recruiter and he can get you out of the DEP. he will try to dick you around about it of course because he went through all that time and the goverment has spent a lot of money on your putting you to MEPS, the drive up, and the hotel...but you can get out of DEP. again, if your DEP contract does not match your active duty enlistment contract...do not sign it.

  • they dont want to hear you whine later i didnt get this bonus or i was promised this job. if its not in the contract you signed, you dont get it. just like any other contract in the world. you get what you sign. now if you sign for it and eventually comes up that the MOS isnt open then you do have the option to train for another MOS of your choosing, one that the USMC chooses, or you also have the option of getting a general discharge which is not a dishonerable or a medical.

  • so there are options when it comes to enlisting and living your life as Marine. instead of just worrying about the ASVAB and your IST, worry about the damn contract you are going to sign.

  • What? I hear the USMC has met recruiting goals for several years now-

  • This applies to all branches and it's pretty damned disappointing.

  • No faggot the real problem is pussy sgt's like yourself! Sitting down giving an interview about bad recruiting in country, go train your fucking marines. If you knew shit you would know that you sign for your job and all entitlements. Its black and white fuck bag. Your a weak ass cry baby bitch, i feel sorry for your Marines to have such a pussy to look up to

  • @gysgticeman

Geez you sound like a tough guy. I bet you are one of those Gy's that puts pillows in your pack on humps. You should fight this guy! Oh wait that might be tough while your POG ass types from the cover and concealment of your computer.

  • @gysgticeman the real problem isn't this sgt, the real problem are the motards who have blind allegiance to the Corps no matter how fucked up it is.

an injustice is an injustice and it's always pisses me off how the Corps claims Marines don't lie yet turn around & do the same.

many good Marines leave becuz of that shit. i had to pay $4000 of my own fucking money for lasik that my recruiter promised me would be free.

It's sad becuz motards like u forget where they came from.

  • @VredesStal If your a reservist and you find out you like life of the Marine Corps, could you go active duty?

  • @conarym9 yea

  • no offense to Army because i was active army for a term but what i realyl did notice when it comes to the basic infantry soldier or Army compared to Marines... Army=quantity, Marine Corps=quality... now im not talking other MOS or special forces and stuff im talking just basic combat arms infantry. they have extended boot camp for a reason, to make you tough as shit and a better rifleman. so when you train that intense with a rifle you should know you may have to use it no matter what your MOS

  • what do you mean dont get a bonus because of the recruiters? they dont sign the contract at MEPS you do. read the paper that says you get a bonus. if you dont get the bonus of arent happy with the conditions that you have available to you then dont sign the fuckin paper. the recruiter fills out basic paperwork and sends you to MEPS. everything else from then on is the person at MEPS and you. if you dont read what you sign or pay attention thats not the recruiters fault its yours

  • Dod Bless the Marine Corps!

And their fucking ass kicking ways!

    Get some!

  • Recruiter didn't promise me shit but 2 canteens and a hour of sleep a day

  • if your going into the military you should research it HEAVILY. But he is right you can get screwed very easily when enlisting. You have to know what you want and have it written in your contract.

  • ya your contract has nothing to do with your recruiter though, its you and the people at MEPS. recruiters cant even walk in the doors at MEPS let alone tell you what you can get or what you should sign.

  • being a reservist is nothing like active duty. there is nothing that will prepare you for the level of bullshit that takes place in the active duty spectrum of life.

  • I really hope I get my 10 grand

  • In all honesty the military doesnt give a flying fuck what your mos is.... The military is looking for killers and thats the bottom line really...

  • you're on crack if you think that.

the military DOES give a fuck about mos. you think it mattes what some pog ass bitch from admin shot on the rifle range? those fags never go to combat and when they do deploy they dont do shit except parer work.

  • you stupid son of a bitch... if we were to have a fucken all out war everybody in the military is going to fight it aint ganna matter if your the fuken drummer boy for the marine corps your azz is going to fight plain and fuken simple

  • you are a fucking idiot. if you think the military would allow that to happen. and please tell me how you came to know sooooo muck about actual combat when you obviously have never been there. as a grunt i can tell you any bod that isn't active infantry is fucking useless in a combat situation. i'd rather go in out numbered 5 to one than the other way around if i had to do it with fags from supply and admin.

  • you are a complete utter lunatic my friend

  • @thegame245

walk a mile in my boots and see where you stand then.

  • @thegame245 - I spoke with a USMC recruiter back in 1966 and asked him what kind of vocational training the MC could offer. He looked at me like I was nuts. He said the MC is basically combat infantry. " That's what we do", he said, "and it's almost all we do. If you want training for some future civilian job, you had best look elsewhere." Some recruiters might stretch the truth, but this man was proper.

  • exactly bottom line is marine corp is looking for killers they can give a flying fuck what your mos is every marine is a basic rifleman..if you want training for some future civilian job without the risk than join the navy or coast guard

  • @thegame245

that every marine is a basic rifleman stuff is bull crap.

  • wonder why u got thumbs down for your comment its the truth. the military is basic on basic riflemen...everybody learns to shoot it as basic training for a reason...thats in case you have to fuckin use the damn thing. if everybody didnt have a chance to go to war then everybody wouldnt have to go to basic they would go straight to AIT and learn their MOS. obviously you are going basic training=learn to protect yourself and kill others, what other reason would you need basic combat training for?

  • yeah exactly my point alot of people who join the marine corp dont really think about that much..alot of people think just because your a cook or whatever your mos is outside of infantry they think their in the safe zone in terms of facing combat or seeing less of.. Either way they will send you to war you might not be as active as infantry in terms of seeing combat but by golly your definetly bound to see it regardless what your mos is in the marine corp..

  • @thegame245

and ,pray tell, how many years have you served in the corps?

  • I worked with the AD Air Force recruiters for an ENTIRE year before I shipped out, so I wasn't surprised at all by anything. I did get a guaranteed specialty which offered NO bonus(but then again, I wasn't really in it solely for the money).

I know that the bonus money is a big part of the sales pitch but the money is given CONDITIONALLY. Understand the conditions of how you will receive it, future recruits! Don't take that shit for granted!

  • i know some people just make up lies to their therapists etc. crazy stuff. i know one guy got discharged because he said "i felt like rolling a grenade into my platoon and watching the body parts fly..."

  • true but our military is still small compared to other countries(russia china etc.) what keeps us going is our technology

  • this guy is a MP just to let you guys know

  • This guy got a bonus for being an mp? I humped my ass across afganastain an ate chickens an potatos and killed taliban... and i would do it all over just to be with the Infantry Marines again... MPlol

  • LOL 90% of Marine Recruiters are forced into the job, almost no one volunteers for it. By the way we have more the enough people joining the Marines. At the moment we have 4000 more peole then what we need in the Marine. Because of that if a person signs up now he/she needs to wait almost 6 months before they can even ship to boot camp.

  • @redfox669 Tell me about it.... -__- signed the contract on January.....leave in November.....
