Hey just watched both your vids , gonna try this diet see how I get on , couple questions I'm a skinny guy I weigh 154 pounds would u recommend this diet to gain size , I find it very hard to gain I'd be looking to eat over 3000 calls right ?
Hey grat work, i know its an ld video. I wanted to ask you what calories did you do, i know the other video had u at 4000 for the 12 days, so did you stick tothat amount or lower them. Im suppose to eat that much, i dont know man if i can physically do that, did u use shakes, how did u pump your calories up that much?
@rustybones3115 During the indication phase you're suppose to consume around 18-20 times your current body weight. I did follow it though. You want to keep protein moderate and can fats higher, and of course have low carbohydrates.
You can use protein shakes but I would rather eat my calories than drink them.
This is all "The Metabolic Diet" written by Dr. Mauro DiPasquale, a world renowned nutrition expert and sports medicine physician and also former multiple world champion in power lifting. I highly recommend "The Anabolic Solution for Bodybuilders 3rd Edition" which is the Metabolic Diet specifically written for bodybuilders. I've been on this diet and the results I've had are just incredible, no other diets even come close. Check out metabolicdiet com
@AntWrig Most weeks I do only one day loads and once a month I'll do two days and also I've learned that its much better consuming low GI carbs and maybe just one High Gi carb snack. Sometime I only have one carb meal for the entire carb loading day. Depends how my body fat levels are. I also have a question, was that you I saw in a bodybuilding com magazine ad in a muscle magazine?
@AntWrig Yeah I knew the picture looked familiar, I hope bodybuilding com is promoting Dr. Mauro DiPasquales books because they really really work for natural athletes, bodybuilders or anymore looking to get in shape. How did you find out about the metabolic diet and why did you choose to use it? Most people are scared because of the high fat part.
@swedd2 Look at most people. They are following the conventional wisdom and look how fat they are. Look at the nutrition "Exports" promoting low fat/high carb. They are all weak looking.
Dude stop! You are losing way too much muscle mass.
It's cool to be cut, I can range from 170-220 in a year, but man you don't wanna be less than 190.
Your first video looked like a beast sitting down, your on the way to becoming a yoga instructor build. While carbs may 'fine tune' your weight, and the fluctuation back and forth between ketones and glucose, but use BCAA's religiously or something. You have already lost enough muscle mass.
is that your reason for no longer being on the AD? I did it two years ago with some luck (no EXTREME luck that one couldn't get with a regular cut) but, as my name entails, I'm a drummer, and though I'm sure it doesn't effect me much, I'm also unsure of how a VLC diet would effect the drumming muscles.
Would you recommend a CKD diet to anyone? What would you say are its pros and cons?

That may be true but they are digested very slowly.

Hey AntWrig, you've got to be sub 10% here. I'd say so in your other video too. Are you still on doing the Anabolic diet?
drumsrosner 2 years ago
@drumsrosner No I am not. I look at this video now and laugh. I looked so flat. =/
