That was fuckin' cool. That asshole got right what he deserved. You shoot at the police, while advance on them, you're showing intent to kill, and therefore a threat to be neutralized. That cop that ran him over, is a quick thinking, fast acting and resourceful individual. He might have even helped to save the life of his fellow officer.
Deadly force is deadly force, knife, gun, car, rpg, tank, as far as the law goes if you are in a situation that calls for the use of deadly force use what ever you have at hand. In this case the cop figured his car was the best, quickest way to end the threat. Its like when you hear news stories about a bad guy getting shot 57 times and the media says 'excessive' force is used. Always makes me laugh, getting killed by one bullet or 5000 bullets is all the same, you are just as dead.
@GhostStan in my opinion he deserved it. If you listen he did shoot a cop, but what i dont see is why didnt the cop who was in the car never get out of the car when the gunman was shooting at the police officer?
@danwhaneman1 yeah i think he deserved too i guess was easy to run him over end the threat with out getting out of the car but if you look at the video the cop shots the guy he falls down then other cop runs him over

@danwhaneman1 because he couldve missed with his bullet and his cop body couldve taken another round possibly a fatal round, you don't miss with a crown vic. Plus when you get hit by a car like that your shoes have a hard time staying on they usually fly 25 feet so Im pretty sure it wouldve been hard for him to hold on to that gun. Basically he ended the threat the fastest and safest way possible and did an excellent job in my opinion.
Im glad this guy didn't die. Hopefully he's a quadriplegic now and spends the rest of his life regretting he lived.
